What Does Future Holds for Twitter Influencers in Nigeria, if Twitter ban is upheld by Federal Government?

Some Influencers can use VPN, but not majority of their followers have that luxury.

National assembly senate and house of rep are still tweeting.

This another fumble by buhari.

He is good and blocking revenue means.
I dont blame him i blame APC , tinubu and other ppl who voted him in power after 4 failed campaigns.

Now I see why they wouldn't be one bit bothered. I guess if the stats for instagram is pulled up, Nigeria would make the Top 5!

Mess with a sitting president?

They deleted a tweet that doesn't align with their rule.

Use a VPN problem solved. There are many free VPNs in the appstore and playstore and they will work just fine. Twitter isn't restricting IP addresses, so even blacklisted IPs will work 100%. The ban is usless because of VPN just as the ban on cryptocurrency is usless because of peer to peer. Nigerian government are not smart at all.
Na to ban playstore next

Am I the only one that doesn't understand what this suspension means?

Does it mean people can no longer access tweeter web/app?

If so, how is that possible?

You are able to browse nairaland because of your service provider ( mtn, glo ).
This companies are registered under the government, if FG decides to ban nairaland they simply instructe 'this providers' to flag your ip whenever you try to log on nairaland and block you from doing so. I think.

If the ban is useless, twitter wouldn’t raised concern..

Talk is cheap..

As for vpn, let them get it started. A lot of people won’t understand how vpn works until they tried using it..

When your data finishes can u access YouTube, Google No? When u have data can u access them yeah!!! Telecommunications will just put the twitter as apps that cannot be used by data in Nigeria even if you have data.
Telecommunications are also ruled by Nigeria

Tiktok is completely block in India, they pick up location from your network provider.

If they really want to implement the suspension, all this your VPN talk na wash.

Trump was After he lost his election!
the reason is simple, apart from personal vendetta,, Twitter and Facebook pose no national threat and there was no law to back him shutting them down, but the law supports twitter and face book

Seems u don't get how VPN works
VPNs hide your internet activity and mask your IP address, which bypasses the current location you are in. With VPN on, a new IP address and location is been activated in your phone and your network provider doesn't know. The only way VPN won't work is if the site doesn't accept VPN and tik tok accepts vpn
