It looks like only self-proclaimed activists are criticizing the Nigerian government for suspending Twitter, cos from the tweets I have been reading online, especially those of Non-Nigerians, people are not happy with Twitter at all.

Bruno Maçães, for example...

Who else noticed that the so called Bruno and Onochie Loretta has the same settings on twitter to avoid backlash. A genuine business men are interested in what people say about them but setting his twitter handle such that only his followed friends can respond to his tweet seems to be the trend among the federal govt sycophants. From onochie to unknown business man.

I am often surprised how we seek validation from foreigners for our misconduct but never emulate the development level in their countries.

When we increase fuel price, we talk about how much foreigners are paying for gasoline in comparison but decline to talk about their minimum wages and purchasing powers.

That is why such sophistry and deceptive way of manipulating public opinion isn't going to work for long and people are already weary of it. But as it is, it is the singular trick of some PR teams.

PVision2020:

And Buhari also hold the right to determine what's best for Nigeria by suspending Twitter indefinitely in his domain. We can all be mad together.
If a single man (jack) can unilaterally determine what's permissible or not with his brazen double standard and hypocrisy then a government of over 200M people (voted into power by over 15M voters) also possess the right to kick their ass off.

Lol anyways Nigerians this is more than just banning Twitter it's a ploy to trample on our freedom of speech. June 12th is the time to make ur voice heard

#The time is now[/b][/quote]

Freedom to say all sort of rubbish, to curse, to instigate, to burn and kidnap, and kill and maim at will. True definition of freedom.
