Google has revealed its plans to allow users to opt-out of sharing their Advertising ID with advertisers. What this means is that, if a user opts-out, advertisers will no longer be able to track the user's activity as they move between different apps.

Google is following after its rival Apple to “provide users with more control over their data, and help bolster security and privacy”.
