The guy doesn't understand how the online business works. Jack will feel this within just one week of this ban.

Jack won't feel zilch, you should worry about the Nigerians that benefit from using Twitter and how twitter helps our revenue.Nigeria is at loss not Twitter
If Jack couldn't feel Trump's permanent ban and threats by Trump supporters to leave the platform which they later came back to he will not feel zilch.Nigeria is the one at loss not Twitter.

India is headed by the BJP, a violent extremist Hindi party.

Infact the current prime minister was directly and physically responsible for the death of over 7000 Muslims in a mosque in the south of the country in 2006.

The site where the mosque was located was violently converted to a Hindi temple.

And infact it was Donald trump who lifted his (current Indian prime minister) ban from entering America .

And like shekau , a 15million dollar bounty was on nerhanda modi's head .he was at the time an international Hindu TERRORISTs...

Is Buhari the new Nahrenda of Nigeria ?

To start, it is very concerning to see the amount of wealth, power and control that is in the hands of few IT giants that are not answerable to the people. Few people who are not totally representative of the people can easily cause trouble.

On top of that, Freedom of speech is not absolute and it is subject to reasonable restrictions

which balls u dey talk wat is d different btw Nigeria and India, two 3rd world countries that hv d highest population of poorest pple in d world and is diz government of buhari that made Nigeria to overtake them in amount of pple with poverty...

First, What did your own father do to improve his immediate family and take y’all from poverty? What are you doing to improve your own life and not bring children to poverty like your ancestors?

We can always blame government. Do you know with your mobile phone and the little megabytes you have you can create a business and sell online? I dislike lazy whining young people who blame others for their plights every time. Especially, those who have access to internet and who have money to buy mobile phones. That phone was a luxurious in our own time.

I’m not from a rich family and I schooled in Nigeria with all the difficulties. It was difficult growing up, I only enjoy the so called “free education” in primary school but my parents paid for my education in public high school. I was 11 or 12 years old when I have been going to the bank to deposit school fees.

disgraced government doing everything to safe face. Even the Chinese government with weibo still make use of Twitter and Facebook.

Nigeria is in no position to ban Twitter or Facebook...this is a country on western charity, produces nothing and import everything, even their health care for the sketal human embarrassment!

Lol. What's the difference between India and Nigeria? Two useless countries.

You called indian a useless country? Were you joking?

That nation has it's tentacles spread across the world.. They have dominated IT and Medicine.. You can't do without them. Their educational system makes them naturally brilliant.

Cheap skilled labour that world powers are exploiting.

It you go by merit, you cannot mention 3 countries that will go ahead of them in the world.

I'm not supporting the ban in any way. But for you to say Jack won't feel the ban shows you don't understand how social media sites/apps make money. That's like saying Seun won't feel anything if Ogun state, or any state in Nigeria bans its entire population from accessing Nairaland. By the way, Jack banned Trump, but Trump didn't ban Americans from accessing Twitter. There is a big difference.

Add the fact that their population is over a billion. People don't understand that these social media sites like Twitter and Facebook thrive off of traffic...the more visits they get, the more money they make from ads...and vice versa

Jack will not feel zilch it is the Nigerians using the platform for business that will feel the heat

When Trump was banned his supporters threatened to leave the platform claiming that their absence and Trump's absence will affect Twitter.Nothing happened Twitter's didn't die and the supporters came back to the platform.

All these social media companies MUST be caged properly before they cage the rest of us

Look at how these social media companies singlehandedly installed Sleepy Joey as the POTUS.

The implication is that these social media companies are the new God and they decide who must be seen and heard or not, since they control the narrative!

I say, fück that shit

Fück twitter.

Fück facebook.

Fück jack and zuckerberg.

Thanks for the add-on

Indian exploited it's diversity, that nation I can boast of. Nigerians are not divided compared to Indians. They move with hate by their tribal differences. But an Indian will never trade an Indian in the dice.

Their networking is the best in the world. Indians will conquer you knowing and their is nothin you can do about it.

One exceptionally skilled lots.

Funny how Twitter plays good boy with the small, inconsequential developing countries like Ghana and co, but sees the rising, developing giants like India and Nigeria, as enemies to fight with.

The westerners don't want the darkies to be too powerful, just small, smiley and compliant.

Kiss teeth.

You don't reason well,if you do,y do you think Facebook had the guts to ban Trump?
