You dey bleep up sha... So because some people are using the platform for negative reasons does that mean every other person should also suffer....

The government is less than clueless. Why not prosecute, rather than blanket banning.

Freedom of Speech.. grin grin But Buhari tweet was deleted?

Anyway, the Federal Govt. is no way hindering freedom of speech...We still have Facebook, Nairaland, Instagram, WhatsApp, Telegram, crowwe etc..

FG only banned one platform where irresponsible speech capable of wrecking havoc to the corporate existence Nigeria is permitted and that is Twitter...

God Bless Nigeria..
You are so dumb. The freedom of speech herein referred to is on Nigerians, by Nigerians in Nigeria not on tweeter medium. Tweeter owners have their own rule.olodo

Very wrong statement to make. A campaign to end police brutality does not equate to a plot to destabilise Nigeria.

If the security forces were on ground to manage the protests, miscreants would not have hijacked the protests.

Even though the same event led to the destruction of Lagos and other parts of Nigeria.

You people are not serious..

Can a Nigerian company owned by an individual try what Twitter tried with our President ?? Did the EU do anything to Trump before he slapped them with trade sanctions ? Like Trump would say, America First then we should be saying Nigeria first too. Our country's future is at stake and some of us are supporting a foreigner who has no respect for ALL 200 million of us.

The owner of Twitter does not care if all 200 milion of us go up in flames as he sees ALL of us as inferior to him.

If Twitter would not try what they did with Prince Harry who abused American constitution a few weeks ago then why try it with our President if not that he sees Africans as inferior and sees African lives as worth wasting in war to supply TV amusement for Westerners.

If Twitter dies today, I stand. If Nigeria falls today, I perish. I stand with my country. Nigeria first!

This bias and retrogressive government has destroyed the little hope of economic recovery.
Seeing our opinions on various social media platforms shows the world and investors in particular that Nigerians are resiliently unrelated in our efforts to shape our future but now it feels like Nigerians are prisoners.

God help our nation

Please dear...just one question.
Is it by force to coexist with whom you don't like by whatever means?
Is freedom of associations and freedom to chose whom to live with a sin?
If your parents should force a spouse on you whether you like the person or not hope you will take it?
Be sincere to your big self for once!!

No one is holding you back. You can leave now. Its in the Constitution that you can cease to become a citizen of Nigeria and relocate to another country. Now what you cannot do is take sovereign land with you as it does not belong to you. It never was. You cannot eat your cake and have it at the same time.
