Some people have sold their souls to the devil. I wonder what would be said about this crop of both lower and upper chambers (members) in life and death. TB Joshua has gone to rest and people are saying good things about how he impacted lives positively.

And how will you be alive to enjoy it if an incompetent and authoritarian government is allowed to exercise power without oversight? It's astonishing that anyone could be so intellectually stunted as to dismiss freedom of speech as unimportant.

You must be intellectually stunted yourself to discern one. Before the twitter saga, when did he disrupt proceedings cos of the annihilation going on in Benue.?

This government just know how to make an irrelevant thing to become very popular. See now Twitter is to be discussed in a whole national assembly of the country where they don't even have an office.

That's how they gave extraordinary popularity to once unknown IPOB. No body knew or heard about them, even most of their members today didn't know about them until this government gave them the larger than the world popularity.

That's what's happening to Twitter presently...

Now everyone is hearing about Twitter in the country, even those that never used it before. What a free advert for Twitter. Once the ban is lifted, Nigerian Twitter users will skyrocket in number. That'll be great for me because I had a running advert on twitter before the ban.

The ad isn't performing again, because it was targeting Nigerian audience. Now all Nigerians have become American and European with the power of VPN.

Is Twitter more important than the lives being wasted in his home state?

Stop the proceedings and let your colleagues debate important issues and not twitter.
I'm all for FOI and democracy but we must be alive to enjoy it.

Nigerian lives matters first!

None of them is bold enough to speak his opinions publicly.

Is it when they’re in session they will now have the gusts to keep the Executive in check?

Spineless & lilly-livered men, they’re waiting for the people to come and help them do the job they’re collecting huge salaries for! cheesy grin

IF TWITTER CAN EXPLAIN WHY BUHARI POST AGAINST PROSCRIBED GROUP WAS DELETED & POINT OUT THE WORDS THAT WERE SAID THAT WAS OUT OF LINE.

"IT WAS UNFORTUNATE THAT WE EXPERIENCED THE CIVIL WAR, MILLIONS OF PEOPLE DIED IN THE WAR. WE WILL TREAT THIS TERORROST IN THE LANGUAGE THEY UNDERSTAND"....... And it was deleted. Twitter should just come forward and explain why it was deleted.

Ah, yes, so because someone doesn’t comment on one particular thing of interest to you, they’ve forfeited the right to speak about anything else? I’d be surprised if your IQ reached the double digits with an argument that ludicrous.

I have always known that most of the law makers in the house of assembly are balless, ass lockers, and hypocrite. Just imagine, you voted people to represent your interests they get there and place the party under which they were elected over the people they were meant to represent

Your people were killed and their rights encroached but your loyalty enslaved you to evil... Even if you want to make your loyalty a slave make it a slave to good people and good course

Nobody would live forever. Your deed would be the only thing left

The position you are today would be filled by another tomorrow, life goes on.

That power you failed to use for good today would be used for bad tomorrow, same as you did and one way or the other it would affect you too, either in your old age or when you can't hold any political post or when you are dead

What has changed in the Upper & Lower Chambers.
* Same lump salaries and other crazy sums.
* Same Budget padding.
* Infact it got worse at standing up to
executive excesses.

I never know decomcracy can be weakened like this until APC came into power. What we called the rascalities of PDP was a child play compared to what's going on in current APC govt. Some elements in PDP can at least say NO! But these APC people are collectively too docile. Leaders of the legislative assemblies makes it look like they are appandages of the executive. The people they represent are kind of secondary interest.

it's just starting. By the time buhari is done with nigeria, na only NTA go remain.
It will be like north korea where they announce on their national television that north korea has won the senior world cup, when no such event took place.
