Those are the people who are well-informed and educated. Not the online warriors who jump on threads to spew trash in support of ineptitude. |

abbey621: Countries choose what to ratify and what to ignore. Nigeria is a member of the UN, yet child marriage is still a norm here. In fact, 26 states have failed to ratify the laws against child marriage. Anybody can join the UN. |

great men of God and other leaders should not use the situation on ground to make more or cheap popularity they are seen as fathers of the nation....they should quell down the dust than raising the dust.. Nigeria remains our only homeland...if we rise to destroy it today because of one man.. our children and generations to come, have no other country after we leave |

Vaughanlanrewaj: You are just a stupid asshole. Why are you trying to down Pedal what the man of God said? or did he send you to plead on his behalf? The man clearly stated here that none has the right to stop him from tweeting and quoted UN charter article 19 to back it up and you are here talking rubbish. Common shift you idiot with the gut of an ant 3 Likes 1 Share |

UndilutedFaxt: Stupidity is when you compare oranges and apples. How many fulani herdsmen have gone to twitter to incite Nigerians to violence despite their condemnable attrocities? Or are you blind to what Nnamdi Kanu writes on twitter? Yet twitter did not caution him till recently when the government acted. Every sane man sould condemn fulani genocide, but that is not what we are discussing here. Even if Adeboye is to use twitter to communicate to members of his business empire, why come out openly to confront the government? If not for business oriented publicity stunt, why can't Adeboye disobey government in his private capacity, why encourage others to do same? ElRufai disobeyed government, but he never encouraged others to do same. Is that part of bible or his business teachings? Open disobedience to constituted authority that did not go against the practise of any religion. Is twitter the only means of communication in Nigeria.By the way isTwitter a Nigerian company? What happens if the Government passes a law promoting only indegenious means of communication in Nigeria,to protect local content, will adedoye still be talking of Human rights? |

inoki247: Don't you know that anyone twitting in Nigeria is doing so from another country? Or you see a VPN showing Nigeria. Our daddy is twitting from Singapore. Because a social media company brought down Mbuhari post on Twitter, the whole country should be brought down. It speaks well of the kind of persons we have at the top. Please help to remind they all that "My father in heaven is the only baba at the top, at his time he knows how to bring them down" |

Vaughanlanrewaj: Twitter isn't an ordinary social media. It is championing human right and we are just coming to that NEW Evolution. Twitter is about to get bigger from this situation. Just watch the outcome and how it plays out. Twitter is very different from Facebook or hook up sites. This is now about human rights and free speech not business or agendas. U can't block human rights and exist as a decent nation. 1 Like |

Mrtaye: It has no bearing on the issue at hand. As long as you're a member of the UN you're expected to follow its rules and declarations. It's the same for OPEC, African Union and many others. You can't have one set of rules for Africans and another set of rules for super powers. |
