UCH was once like this but due to lack of maintenance and proactive management..it is now in a very bad condition.

This was where I did my Brain Surgery after a ghastly motor accident in Akwa Ibom where the bike guy died. I hit my head on the coal tar and my skull cracked into the brain. I survived because of their topnotch medical facilities. One of the best in Africa. God bless our former Governor, Barr. Godswill Obot Akpabio. Maybe I would have kicked the bucket if I was taken to normal federal medical center.

Their nurses behaves as if you are in overseas hospital. Nobody yells at a patient. My bed even had a remote control�... What an experience.
