There is apprehension in Eke-Onuimo, in the Onuimo Local Government Area of Imo state following the abduction of 15 passengers along Enugu-Port Harcourt Road by suspected herdsmen.

The passengers were travelling on two separate buses when the herdsmen stopped them along the Arondizuogu-Okigwe stretch of the road, Daily Trust reports.

According to an eyewitness, the kidnappers marched all the passengers of one bus into the Bush.

It was learnt that some passengers on the second bus managed to escape but the whereabouts of the passengers were still unknown as of the time of filing this report.

The police have yet to comment on the incident and the spokesperson for the state command, SP Bala Elkana, could not be reached calls to his mobile line were not answered.

Dis was why the army and military were posted to the region, to help degrade and keep the ESN and IPOB busy while the herdsmen infiltrate and wreck their usual havoc unabated...

Demibobo636:
They have reached there I think you guys said no fulani herdsmen in IMO state.

How many of such kidnappings and attacks have been reported in the region before the army and other security agencies relocated to the east

Restore back Grazing routes, just as the president as said yesterday, and there will be lasting peace. The IGP should carry out the others and the AGF too, so we can graze our cattle happily

This is why the army fought so hard to downgrade ESN. Neither the military nor the police will go after the kidnappers especially when they confirm their ethnicity to be Fulani.

This government takes pleasure in making this nation a nation soak in innocent human blood, because of its ties with the devil. But the day is coming when the judgment of the Almighty God will decent upon the leaders of this great nation and their secret activities will be exposed. How God judge and silent Abacha even so will He judge the Pharaoh of Nigeria. Mark my word!

The biggest threat to the Nigeria unity is not IPOB, it's not Igboho and his Oduduwa agitation.

The biggest threat to Nigeria unity is the Fulani herdsmen and the Fulani people, coupled with Buhari government. On a daily basis these set of people do everything possible to keep this nation divided. Their level of unpatriotic actions has never been witnessed in this country before.

Let them continue to stoke the fires of division in Nigeria, one day monkey go go market, e no go return.

Let me tell you something, the crop of military men in Imo state are extremely happy with that kidnapping that happened. That's to tell you the level of disunity in Nigeria.
