June 12 Protest Suffers Low Turn Out / Sunday Asefon: NANS President Is On His Own, June 12 Protest Holds - Students / NANS Suspends June 12 Protest, Distances Self From ‘Buhari-Must-Go’ Campaign (2) (3) (4)
The Proposed June 12 Protest by Monogamy: 3:13pm On Jun 11
FG has banned any protest or illegal gathering tomorrow June 12, even though I have my reservations regarding the banning, I have some advise to the potential protesters.
You people goofed by tagging the movement protest.. It should have been June 12 rally cos protest always indicate some sort of frustration.
Considering the level of insecurity in the country, the rise of agitators from different region, it's necessary for FG to ban any protest
If you have been consciously and psychologically follow the events in Nigeria, it's obvious that the End Sars Inciters are still not done in causing chaos and confusion in SW states..
No state governors would allow the repetition of End Sars chaos and confusion. No security officers would want to be vulnerable to protesters and no business owners would want their businesses to be destroyed again all in the name of protest.
The Inciters and opportunists are waiting to do their stuffs tomorrow which the government are much more aware, law abiding Nigerians should stay clear of any protest tomorrow.
Even though you guys might have your valid reasons for protesting, but your actions might cause unnecessary unrest in most especially SW region... I doubt if Buhari have any properties or Business in SW states. So whatever your actions might be would not hurt Buhari or his cronies but average Nigerians like you and I.
Don't be part of agents of Destruction, Don't be caught in something that could be between life and death. If life is so precious, then it's advisable to shun June 12 protest.
A word is enough for the wise...

Well, the guaranteed right to protest is one of the good things of being a democracy.
The reason why Libya is in a mess is because for decades, they were not allowed to protest, so resentments built up until they exploded.

Helineus you again
Re: The Proposed June 12 Protest by Monogamy: 3:20pm On Jun 11
The truth is there is nothing like a peaceful protest most especially in Africa... We are not yet civilized to that level... Even BLM protest was hijacked and eventually banned ( directly/indirectly)

1.Sorry, but who is helineus? Is he a friend of yours?
2.If it is the infamous helinues, the infamous APC supporter you are referring to...sorry I am not the guy, and I don't support APC or PDP for that matter. They are both the same useless parties to me.
Re: The Proposed June 12 Protest by Beancounter93(m): 3:23pm On Jun 11
So when will we be civilised enough for peaceful protests?
Left to people like you, we should either stay under Amry rule, or paternalistic dictatorship because 'we ain't mature enough'?
Besides, if the APC chaps had done enough for change....do you think that people would be protesting on the streets?
Re: The Proposed June 12 Protest by Monogamy: 3:24pm On Jun 11
Put party affiliation aside.. Cos If Pdp had done reasonable things, we wouldn't have ended up with a man like Buhari...
How is China treating the likes of Jimmy Lar, Joshua Wong in Hong Kong?
Re: The Proposed June 12 Protest by Beancounter93(m): 3:26pm On Jun 11
1.If Nigerians had been serious and had realised the power we have with demcoracy, PDP and APC would have long since been voted out;.
2.Are we China? You want to live in that country of heavy duty prision camps and an over-controlled press? The country of one-party system? Overcontrolled religions? No thanks.
Re: The Proposed June 12 Protest by Monogamy: 3:29pm On Jun 11
How did Nicholas Maduro treat Venezuelan's protesters when the protesting was getting out of hand?
What actions did Lukashenko take to quench the rise of protest in Belarus?
No government would allow miscreants to hijack protest.. Didn't some BLM members looted some Businesses in Usa? Civilized American.. How about the Capitol Hill siege by Trump's supporters?
Re: The Proposed June 12 Protest by Beancounter93(m): 3:32pm On Jun 11
Are we Venezuela and Belarus?
Look, do you want to live like people in Belaurs? You want one man rule?
You want Nigeria to be like Venezuela...who has zero manufactuirng and imports everything...including toilet roll?
You APC guys, you are sounding like the PDP guys every day. Excusing bad leadership.
If you want foreign subversion to be defeated...defeat it by good governance

For your ears only.
Re: The Proposed June 12 Protest by Monogamy: 3:35pm On Jun 11
If countries that are well civilized with less disgruntled citizens couldn't maintain a peaceful protest, is it disorganized, disoriented Nigerians you are expecting to conduct a peaceful protest?
What exactly is even the protest for?
Re: The Proposed June 12 Protest by Beancounter93(m): 3:36pm On Jun 11
Better governance. At least some semblance of better governance from all levels of government.
I guess that is what Nigerians want. From both major parties.
Re: The Proposed June 12 Protest by Monogamy: 3:38pm On Jun 11
And did Nigeria politicians elect themselves into power?
Where were Soro Some boys during the bye election in Lagos that less than 10% of the register voters only participated in the election?
How come Aba city with a population of 1m+ recorded less than 20k voted for Ava bye election?
Re: The Proposed June 12 Protest by Beancounter93(m): 3:40pm On Jun 11
No matter the percentage...the people in power that you support are still in charge, and still need to do their jobs properly.
That they are not doing their jobs properly is the reason for this protest.
Re: The Proposed June 12 Protest by Monogamy: 3:43pm On Jun 11
No, it doesn't work that way... Americans, British , German people have all been coming out in their numbers to vote for whoever they want to represent them... Their votes is their rights.
We can't continue to allow unfit and unqualified people to continue governing us
Re: The Proposed June 12 Protest by thebosstrevor1: 3:53pm On Jun 11
Go and destroy your various states.
Your state governors and local governments are busy stealing money and federal allocations meant for your own development, go and protest there
STOP DISTURBING LAGOS.
