Everyone knows you can't just remove a democratically elected president through protests. Protests are intended to raise awareness about issues and get the government working on its flaws. Thats better than just folding hands and assuming everything is perfect when its not while the entire nation is being shattered.

Forget about the international community.

When Nigerians as a collective can agree on what they really want as a collective within reason, and can organise smartly around those collective needs through concrete action will anyone take them seriously.

Eg don't expect a Singapore when the funds aren't there to build it.

No mind dem. Then the excuse will be, THE VOTE THAT THEY'VE ALREADY RIGGED. Yet they won't let us have peace when whoever won has won

Oga when would Nigeria ever act collectively

You mean collectively with the almajiris up north who see everything from anti south angle

If south goes right they would take left

Act collectively when muric says Yoruba Muslim and Yoruba Christian's are not one

Very correct.
Many people do not understand what this means from a foreign investors' standpoint.

Why would an international investor want to invest his funds in a nation that is trending for the wrong reasons on Twitter when he has options to look at more stable and welcoming countries?

FG indeed shot itself in the foot with this ban and the trend will continue for as long as Nigerians use VPN to access Twitter. If FG is waiting on Twitter to come and beg, they will wait for ever because they should be begging Twitter now.

Buhari that historically refused to grant press interviews is suddenly jumping from one interview to the other because he knows the world has seen he's underperformed, lacks control of his government and his advisors/cabal do not deserve the roles assigned to them.

Even if FG calls off the Twitter ban, I wish Nigerians still don't stop using VPN so the entire world sees what is happening in Nigeria, and not just the local populace.

GBAM!

How can Nigerians agree on what they want as a collective? Isnt that the reason they have representatives in the legislative arm of the government - to convey the views of their respective constituents to the law making body of the government and have appropriate laws made to effect them?

What happens in the case of Nigeria's legislative arm? Its leadership has been bought and it only dances to the tune of the presidency or whatever only favors the select few of them in the house.

In other words, the voices of the masses have been silenced, and they can't do anything about it especially with the handicapped judiciary. The only way a common man can vent out his anger and still stay within the ambit of the law is through peaceful protests like this which the government is also clamping down on.

Ordinary Nigerians abroad are scared of coming home, not to talk of foreign investors.

Continue bad mouthing the country let Ghana continue to benefit.

Very funny statement. Twitter did not change any algorithm. The algorithm always rank top tweets by country by using the country of the IP address, the logged in user is retweeting with. Nigerian are retweeting with the ip address of those countries via VPN
