Fabrice muamba comes to mind. They really may recover physically but the mind really doesn't.

Muamba is doing all right (he eventually went back to school and got a Bachelor's degree in journalism...he also did very well in secondary school prior to becoming a professional...his O levels were good enough to eventually get him into university if he had so chosen)..but he was depressed for a while afterwards...and had to see a psychiatrist and psychotherapist.

it would be hard to accept n maybe months letter he would be declared fit to play again but not in Italy bcoz dey dnt allow such risk.
footballers have given all their life to football n its very boring when not doing what they have passion for DT some need phycologists after suffering long injuries dt kept dm out of the game..

Yes, we can. (And I have done CPR many times on patients as a medical worker myself!)

Doctors and nurses in this country can do CPR. (And the CME programme of the MDCN offers many opportunities to learn Basic Life support..though the course fees can cost money o!)

Which is what was done for Ericksen essentially.

He Should definitely retire from football
He has done a lot in football already
His beautiful wife shouldn't experience such horrific scene again

I meant to say that the mind becomes somewhat closed towards FOOTBALL even though he could still play for sometime after recovery.

Of course I know he could pursue other love endeavours.

Not true. Kanu's heart disease was corrected through a surgery. He left Inter because he was not get enough playing time due to the presence of Ronaldo of Brazil
