The deteriorating state of the Nigerian economy and emerging threats to the nation’s social fabric will top the agenda as governors elected on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party, meet in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, on Monday.

This was contained in a statement titled, ‘The PDP Governors Forum will meet on Monday 14th June 2021 at Uyo, Akwa Ibom State,’ signed by the Director General of the PDPGF, CID Maduabum, in Abuja, late on Sunday.

He said, “The meeting will focus on the deteriorating state of the Nigerian economy, the alarming stretching of Nigeria’s social fabric to a breaking point, and the emerging threats to democracy, rule of law and Constitutionalism in Nigeria.

“This is apart from the continuing question of an appropriate security architecture for Nigeria, and measures to RESCUE NIGERIA from the APC led government that has devasted the nation in all sectors.

“The Governors will also further discuss how to continue with good governance measures in their respective States.“

I suspect some APC presidential hopefuls who feel aggrieved after primaries will decamp to PDP and work against the APC just to frustrate the winner’s ambition. The thieves will unite to fight the common enemy at bourdillon or whoever wins.

Then the cycle of misrule starts again. If you think Nigeria will ever get it right using the current political climate, think again!
