That is the beauty of allowing states to work at their on phase, there will be competition among the states and it will lead to development.
Let all state manage their resources and give some percentage to Federal Government every month and see how several states in Nigeria will develop within a short period of time.

Kudos AKWA IBOM, the Nation within a Nation.

Congratulations to Ibom Air and the Akwa Ibom people. These are giant strides with potentials for more FDI. The state needs to also position itself as a Tech and Manufacturing hub. I wish you all well and hope my people in Delta State can see what is happening in Akwa Ibom from the same Oil revenue allocation and more. GOD bless us all.

Is Akwa Ibom State managing it's resources and giving some percentage to the FG? Leave these suckers of governors, if the want to work and develop their respective states they all know what to do.

At the pace economic gateways (air, deep seaport and roads) are developed in the state, Akwa Ibom is position to encourage rapid industrialization and socioeconomic growth.

Those people you are referring to are major stake holder in the aviation industry, they have the biggest airline in West Africa (Airpeace), the biggest private jet service in West Africa(Executive Jet) think twice before saying nonsense. When somebody big pass you admit him pass you and try harder to reach or pass him.

Sha you know that Konga now has a new owner and he is from that same tribe you are referring to, before you start shouting empty barrels shxt.

Since the green airline came out, other airlines have been going about with strings of investments, is it to challenge the young Yoruba guy that tries to provide affordable air transport service to people?

You're not making sense bruv, your son ought to make one of your cities as a hub for his fleet driving IGR for the state like akwa ibom is doing.

Don't always justify foolishness

Misplaced priority. Most airlines across the world are only managing to stay afloat because of the huge cost of running and low profits. A sitting governor whose state has over 50% unemployment and has one of the worst education index in the country is investing heavily in an airline. Most of the youths are either cultists or keke riders. How many British Counties or American States have their own airlines? Even Russia where the distances are large and owning an airline is justified, only a few of the many federating states actually have and operate an airline e.g Yakutia, Ural, Rossiya and Yamal.

Udom is a very big and incompetent fool. All his education is a waste. No impactful or legacy initiative by his government, only cosmetic, white elephant projects - 21 stories towers that is yet to be occupied by the IOCs he claimed he built it for; Ecumenical Centre where Ibomites can be continually scammed by religious Forex Traders and Ibom Air gives him away as a harebrained f**ktard

Let the next governor fix the unemployment issue. The airline will impact tourism in the State leading to more jobs.

Let's stop being emotional and celebrate laudable achievements like this cos it impacts the economy at the end.
