Do you ever wonder why some fruits or crops like breadfruits are now very scarce and expensive? When last did you have a taste of this? Or are you among those who have always heard about it but have never tasted breadfruits?

It pains me that most of the coming generations will go too far to have a taste of some of these fruits and if they get they’ll need to pay so much. And those who will have the tree by then will be making so much money.

Breadfruits is among the trees that do not have seeds and cannot be propagated by stem cutting because of the hollow in the stem. But the wonderful taste, soft texture, attractive colour, the sensation it brings when it’s in the food menu will not allow some of us to let it go.
