Hmmm,! Well laslas you will possibly marry before the fragmentation of this entity. At least that can then safe you the worries.

However, in case the entity breaks before you're married, remember you're a woman and as an African, your father's ethnic cleavage is first choice. Between, who says you can't choose your own country amongst all the fragmented pieces grin

To be candid, it's easier for the camel to walk through a needle eye than the Niger Deltans to massively agree to go with Biafra. Sincerely this opinion had been widely sampled.

You put it down simply for anyone to understand. Those who know Igbos very well know that we call off people's bluff easily. Igboland has all it will take to make us a great country yet those of us in IPOB see that bigger picture. If we dismiss off the other smaller tribes of the AS and go alone, it will still return to hurt (not hunt) us. We have a lot of our blood brothers there who's current foolishness can be so exasperating yet we remain resolute bearing the pain because we see ahead. If for any reason we go without them (non-Igbos of the Niger Delta), they will be wiped out. It's very clear for everyone to see except them. The role Igbos are playing in Nigeria currently is too much. The balance of power we bring is very evident yet others who are suppose to help us win and bring safety for all prefer to play politics with it. The sahelian terrorist know this that's why they're working day and night to strengthen themselves further while our own cousins and neighbours are still toying with the situation neither strengthening themselves nor weakening the current terrorist government. Destinies are being designed currently but those that should most concerned think it's just politics. There is no middle ground currently which a lot of Yorubas are just realising. If you don't want Biafra, start fighting for your own country. Don't remain silent and indirectly aid the common enemy.

I'm in most Ijaw forums.
Their thought is that once Igbos open the floodgates of seccession after years of sacrificing our own blood, they(Ijaws) will use that window of opportunity to declare their own independence too.
And if the Igbo fails, they would rekindle their relationship with the Gambaris and try to expand more into Igbo territories.

IPOB must be aware of these lots plans and make sure to thwart them.

As much as I believe the Igbos have a right to self determination and I pray that God grant them what's best for them.I want to say that the Aniomas of Delta State are not Igbos and I would like the Igbos to stop imposing their identity on us.We are not Delta Igbo or whatever they ckoose to call us,we are Aniomas and so nobody should cover us with an Igbotic umbrella.I'll not loose my cultural identity and be swallowed up in theirs.Their is no divide -and- rule here.Just ask anybody from Ndokwa or Ukwani LGAs whether he is Igbo and you can go home with the response.. Anytime anyday I would vote in a referendum for a Niger Delta Republic where every tribe is a minority than to be in Biafra where one stands the chance to be margibalized.Though I doubt there would be any referendum on our side of the Niger since there is no agitation for secession even though people are not comfortable with the statusquo.
Pls no hard feelings.Thanks.

Why do you need Ndiigbo to tell you of Ijaw plans?
Are their plans not obvious?

Modern day Ijaw nationalism is built around Harold Dappa and Boro principles and worship.
And what are these principles?

The general belief that the Arewa are their protectors against Igbo Boogeyman and that alliance with Arewa must Always be favoured over any alliance with Igbo.

Boro day is celebrated everyday in Ijawland.

IPOB has to accept that Ijaws are nothing but aggressive expansionist neighbors. They are not brothers or cousins as some of you want to refer them as.
These lots are Arewa Trump card against us, like a Vassal they have right in our backyard.
The Ijaw Igbophobia is not inspired by Arewa. Far from it, they (Boro and Harold) only realized the ancient saying: The enemy of my enemy is my friend. They see us as enemies and naturally sought out and formed a permanent alliance with our enemies.

You can't be fighting for BIAFRA which pitches you against Arewa who Boro and Harold projected as protectors of Ijaw people, and expect Ijaw people to join and support you. IPOB are obviously not thinking things thoroughly.
Ijaws see the Arewa as their sole protectors against the Igbo, aka Ijaw Boogeyman. And you stupidly feel they will join you and remove their protectors from them, and and have themselves trapped in same country with the Boogeyman? grin
Why is it too hard for you IPOB to see things from Ijaw perspective?

And No! You can never convince them that you are not the Boogeyman. Don't even try.
Telling or trying to tell them to accept you are not the Boogeyman is like you insulting their parents and calling them liars.
That's even more proof to them that you are up to some sinister plans.

This is not a battle you can win. The only way you win is by letting these people be.

We have been shouting this from rooftops since 2015 till now.

We know that warped thinking of theirs and are prepared for it but we won't still fail to offer a better hand to them. Their fears are clearly unfounded but the least we can do is to reinforce it by reacting to them as enemies because in truth, they're not. The dangers they pose to us through such bad politics is worse for them because they don't gain much from it compared to what they could have and can still have if they aligned intoto with us. Like I said before, worse come to worse, we will go without them and whatever become of them after our departure will never see them coming to us for assistance in any way. We know the politics at play this is why we openly call for referendum so they will use their own hands to severe the link. The referendum we propose is to clean our hands of any future accusations of abandonment. Let them use their hands to reject it or vote against Biafra.
Adaka Boro unfortunately is being celebrated by most of them even when in truth he was just a mole playing a spoiler role for all of us. Is Ken Saro Wiwa his partner in the game being celebrated? Don't they still celebrate the same Abacha that murdered him? The level of confusion in that area is appalling but we can't just give up and leave them to the desert snakes without trying our utmost best.
Posterity will be the judge.
I want any of them to quote me and challenge my reasoning.

To Niger-Deltans: If Nnamdi Kanu and IPOB decide to change the name of their country from Biafra to NIGER-DELTA REPUBLIC with the Niger-Delta flag and add the zoning system to their constitution, will Niger-Deltans and the militants agree to join the agitation?

I wouldn't say that I am sure why IPOB wants to bring the minorities on board, but we just cannot deny Igbos that have been harangued and harassed into denying themselves and their heritage by the Nigerian state. Most of their behaviour is simply survival strategy in a nation that being Igbo puts anyone at a disadvantage. I think that most of those peripheral Igbo, especially in Delta, Rivers and Edo went through a lot to have reached the consensus that survival comes before heritage. Reminisce what Igbos in the heartland must have gone through after the war to understand what those that were isolated from the mainland may have gone through. This is why I do not support any notion that they should be abandoned. Southern minorities are free to reject Biafra, but our own people should get all the encouragement they need to understand the danger of being lefty behind.

If this is tenable, then these are mortal enemies that even if given the chance of exit in a referendum would choose to stay in Nigeria. It gets even more interesting because if IPOB is aware of this and still wants them aboard, then they know something the rest of us do not know. The good news is that they cannot get a referendum even in a hundred years. It'll be interesting to see how things pan out. At the end of it all, the traditional Igbo hate from Nigerian tribes may have the upper hand and Ndiigbo may end up forming a country surrounded by people who hate us like the Israelis we so love to copy.

My reason is simple, I now realize that biafra is possible but only if we accept our 5 core states.
I just like Niger Delta Igbos will choose Biafra over heritage any day. So yes I would rather have biafra of 5 states than no Biafra at all while claiming fake ass SS Igbos

There are 3 things I don't understand about some people.

1) Nnamdi Kanu and the Biafran agitators want referendum where everyone can choose what they want, so how is referendum force? The same person saying Kanu is forcing him into Biafra is the same person Lugard forced into Nigeria without referendum. He is not complaining about Nigeria which he was firced into and already exists. But he is complaining about a Biafra that is yet to exist snd will be created by referendum? That one is madness

2) Someone says he wants Niger Delta Republic. The same person sees Biafra agitation, the same person sees Oduduwa agitation, but he does nothing for Niger Delta agitation. To this day, there is no group agitating for Niger Delta Republic and we have see not a single protest for it.

Majority of Niger Delta non igbo regions are bunch of clowns drinking Kaikai weaklings ...always blaming igbo

My dear, let me tell you what you do not know. Igbos want an Igbo ONLY country, but for some unknown reasons, IPOB wants the 1967 Biafra, plus other Igbos not captured in that Biafra. These are Igbos in Edo, Delta, Kogi and Benue. Some think it may be because of access to the sea that they want the minorities in the South, but that should not be an issue. Even if Ijaw, Ogoni, Annang, Ibibio and Ikwerre refuse to join Biafra, the Igbo nation can create access to the sea through the Urashi River and River Niger. But if the Ikwerre who deny their Igboness and Opobo which is owned by Igbo become part of the new nation, that would not be an issue since these are bounded by the Atlantic. So with either Opobo or Ikwerre, Biafra would have direct access to the sea, but if these vote in a referendum not to be part of Biafra, dredging the River Niger and Urashi River would be the options left. This could be settled through a maritime agreement. Afterall, oil and gas are piped from the SE and SS all the way to the North and beyond. So accounts can be balanced with that.

Having said that, let me also say that if Igbos leave Nigeria without the Southern minorities, it will be a tough call for them to get their own country. These things just do not work that way. You see, Igbo are paying the price of self determination and it is only a matter of time for the world to hear them. Let me tell you what will happen then. The call for referendum will be honored and that referendum will be for all Igbo in Nigeria and the former Biafra of 1967. Nevertheless, the minorities such as Ijaw can speak up loudly not to be included in the referendum but I doubt that that would work with the UN. All would be made to participate and decide if they would be part of Biafra or not. That is when people like your daddy can make their voices heard. Ijaw is a closely knit tribe and I am sure that they can make their voices heard as one people and decide not to be part of Biafra. In which case, they revert back to Nigeria when Igbo and others that vote Yes exit.

Now on a final note, do not think that Ijaw and the minorities would casually demand for a referendum after Igbo has gone. It doesn't work that way, the choice before them is join Igbo or remain in Nigeria. There is no middle ground. I suspect that this is why IPOB is insisting on carrying along the minorities - the power in numbers. If Biafra exits without the minorities, not even in 100 years would they have the voice to get a referendum from the UN. They lack that clout as minorities, so their voice is Igbo. You can take a cue from the Kurds in Iraq and Turkey who have been agitating for decades. Igbo are paying with resilience and blood. Can the minorities do that when Igbo are gone? Good luck to you.
Boss you deserve 2 odogwu (I mean am)

You see all these south south shit..personally I would say make we just carry Akwaibom and cross river join body.. These are the only non igbo tribe that are showing real interest.

The Ijaws keep opposing everything and I keep wondering why they should be involved in the first place. E for good after everybody go make dem eye clear.. Dem just dy shout oil this oil that.. Under Nigeria what have you done with the so called oil you have?
