Akan Udofia, an embodiment of leadership, humanitarian services, innovation and industrial developmental tendencies is set to heed to calls to return to his native land and lead his people to the promised-land.

The seriel entrepreneur and business magnate is CEO of Desicon Engineering Ltd, a transnational company providing technologocal advancements, information technology, cost controls, and exploration to customers in the oil and gas, construction, electrical utility, and other industries throughout Nigeria, Chad, and Ghana.

Mr. Udofia, an Alumni of Harvard University, has basked multiple awards and accolades for his perchance for humanitarian projects. He has created a stretch of industrial opportunities that has empowered hundreds of Akwa Ibom youths. For him, the way forward in engaging and empowering more youths, especially African youths, is 'Industrialisation'. In his words, he said “'Industrial Revolution' will landmark Nigeria towards the direction it is supposed to be.”

As a leader who values inclusiveness and is hence poised to carry the people of Akwa Ibom along, Mr Udofia has emphasized on the need for political leaders to bring to bare, the essence of being forthright and upright, and end politics of calumny.

Recently, a story was cascaded across various platforms that Mr Udofia doesn't believe in God, and he is pledging to enforce tax on churches. The contrived story also claimed that he is divorced and have a questionable trail amongst women. Well, as calm and calculated as he has always been, Mr Udofia's photo with himself and his wife surfaced all over the news space shortly after, dispelling such insinuation that is nothing short of attempt by haters of good who are upset already by the good intention of Udofia, a passionate community developer and leader. The photos now all over the media, much as Mr Udofia is one person who respects his private life a lot, are from his 27th marriage anniversary, amidst being blessed by Pope Francis, Head of Catholic Church and Sovereign of the Vatican City state.

Indeed, upon reinventing the leadership wheels in Akwa Ibom State, Akan Udofia is standing tall in the list of potential personalities who could emerge as Governor of Akwa Ibom State come 2023. Pundits have lauded his triumph, hence the youths of the State keep yearning for his Visionary and innovative Leadership, insisting that is him they want and nobody else as their governor in 2023.

According to insider sources, the pressure on Udofia to run for Akwa Ibom goverbnorship is overwhelming as the day goes by, but the business mogul is still taking his time to think things through and to consult widely with the stakeholders who comprise of the leaders in the state, the youths, the women and the grassroots.

In the days ahead, if Mr Udofia will heed to the calls, only tine shall tell as the political space in Akwa Ibom state begins to take shape.
