Gunmen Abduct Four Chinese Workers at Lagos-Ibadan Railway Project Site

At least, a police officer attached to some Chinese construction workers has been killed at the railway project site in Odeda area of Ogun State.

Four of the Chinese Construction workers being guarded by the policeman were abducted after their security aide had been gunned down.

NPOreports gathered that the Federal Road Sector Corps (FRSC) had taken the remains of the police officer to the morgue.

The police public relations officer (PPRO), Ogun State Command, Mr. Abimbola Oyeyemi confirmed the incident to NPOreports.

He said, “yes, it's true that a police officer was killed. ”

He also disclosed that the police officers are currently investigating the matter.

He said “We are still investigating. We are on the trail of that people. ”
