Advice - Nnamdi Kanu Cannot Be Blamed For Bloodshed In Ala Igbo by Nobody: 1:04pm On Jun 20, 2021
Nnamdi Kanu has made some really provoking speeches which sometimes have made me cringe, but he has always stayed on the message of asking for a national referendum for self-determination and had always promised to accept the results. If Igbos in the majority say NO to Biafra, he will resign from IPOB and move on. He has always insisted on a democratic path to self-determination.

IPOB was always peaceful until the army and police carried out extrajudicial killings of unarmed Igbo Youth and in total over 2000 have been killed on various occasions. On one such event, the soldiers poured acid on their murdered victims to dissolve the bodies and hide the evidence. Now, remember we are talking about human beings here; brothers, sisters, fathers, mothers, uncles etc. Imagine the bereavement that the families went through and in many cases the poverty they had to endure.

Should we talk about the notorious rogue SARs police? Ok. SARs was responsible for the death of hundreds of Igbo Youth for crimes they did not commit. Many were locked up without a trial and many more were killed and labelled armed robbers while their body organs were harvested and traded for profit. Shamefully, one of the kingpins of this rogue organisation was appointed into a top government security position before removal on protest.

How about the spate of ritual killings, kidnappings, armed robberies, and all manner of evil that occurred over a decade in Igbo land with no security, no serious convictions, and no respite for the suffering of the people. Plenty of death but very few trials or serious attempts to bring the culprits to justice because the police and courts were bribed to coverup the crimes and hide the innocent blood. You never hear of so called Igbo leaders doing anything about these killings or visiting the bereaved families or lending them a helping hand.

Our governors and LGA chairmen with a few exceptions specialise in nepotism, corruption, stealing from the state treasury, denying pensioners their hard earned pittance and depriving civil servants and teachers of a consistent stream of earned income. They are heartless, cruel and evil. God punish them.

Okay, let me take a deep breath and move on the final straw that broke the camel’s back. Yes, you got it right, Fulani Herdsmen!!!! When Fulani Herdsmen invaded our villages, setup camp in our bushes and grazed their cows on our farms, not a word was heard from our so called leaders. When they raped our mothers, daughters and sisters, no serious plan was made by Igbo leaders to counter these attacks and provide much needed security. When whole villages were attacked at night and all its inhabitants cut down with machetes, their houses burnt down, no serious plans were made to improve security.

Suddenly, our people could no more farm, the next harvest was threatened, and desperation drove farmers to salvage what was left of their farms. Still, they were killed, maimed and chased away from their ancestral land by foreigners. Their lands were under illegal occupation. We cried, lamented, complained, and protested but our voices were drowned out by a surge of promises, vain and vague statements and wish washy moves to enhance security in the affected areas.

The ESN was setup by Nnamdi Kanu to counter these attacks within a very short period and produced instant results. A large number of invaders were killed, and their camps were dismantled. Farms were freed and villagers could now farm in peace and expect another bountiful harvest of crops.

To our surprise, ESN was not commended by the Igbo leaders, they were condemned, castigated, and declared an illegal outfit. Now remember these same bastards called leaders were unable and, in many cases unwilling to protect their own people, yet they came out to condemn those who took the initiative and provided a solution. You know why? Because of jealousy, jealousy that they were now seen as the cowards that they were, the miscreants who have no heart and mind for the Igbo people of their kin.

So, they colluded with the enemy to dismantle the structures of the ESN and planned to undermine this indigenous security outfit that was and still, is much loved by the people. An outfit of volunteers who sacrificed BLOOD for their motherland with no thanks. Did we even deserve them and their heroic achievements? I am beginning to think maybe not.

These so called leaders could have called for a dialogue, officialised ESN, armed them and given them salaries and maybe called them forest rangers. Instead they formed a counter comedic security outfit that was dead on arrival and barely made if off the ground.

ESN began to retake land that was illegally given to the Fulani Herdsmen for RUGA and intensified efforts to defend their mother land. Then our Igbo leaders brought in the military to use helicopter gunships, tanks and all sorts of heavy weaponry to dislodge and destroy ESN. Well, it did not work and it only made ESN stronger and more determined.

This is when we moved into the era of UGM which intensified after the butchering of Ikonso and his men who were SLEEPING in their bedrooms before the cowardly Nigerian Army killed them and faked a gun battle. No capture, no trial just cold blooded murder by savages in uniform. I am 100% sure that many of the attacks on police stations and military formations after this event were led by ESN but there were miscreants and criminals who took this great opportunity to commit crimes under the cover of ESN and perpetrate atrocities against here own people, many of whom were police men and women.

The Igbo leaders had a great opportunity to call for a dialogue with IPOB and other Biafran Youth groups and perhaps a solution may have been reached. But no, these demented saboteurs whose purpose in government is personal interest and enrichment, issued daily threats and insults to Nnamdi Kanu and IPOB, often using the police to arrest innocent youth and kill them in detention without trial. Then to make matters worse, they colluded with their Fulani murderous masters in Aso Rock to bring in a terrorist compromised military to massacre their own people, dehumanise them and unleash terror in Igbo land.

Now we have so called educated elite and a range of self serving hypocrites in Igbo land blaming Nnamdi Kanu for all the bloodshed in Igbo land. These self-professed intellectuals often use substandard English grammar to confuse the youth and they label IPOB as thugs, miscreants, never do wells, illiterates and other unmentionable names which one will not use against an enemy talk less on a family member.

These idiots have never proffered a single solution to resolving the plethora of problems we have been and are still enduring in Igbo land; of course they are beneficiaries of a corrupt system, often scavenging on bread crumbs from the table of their Fulani masters while intentionally or unwittingly selling their own brothers and sisters into perpetual slavery. Are they not cursed?

These Fulani stooges and beneficiaries are now blaming Nnamdi kanu for all the death in Igbo land while turning a blind eye to.
• SARS extrajudicial killings
• Military led massacres
• Government led criminality and murders

Every fvcking crime, murder, arson, assassinations, political hack jobs and robberies are blamed on IPOB, yet these things existed eons before IPOB came into being. Are these so called intellectuals not disingenuous in their judgement and discriminatory in their pronouncements against IPOB. Why don’t these compromised gluttons use the same energy and effort to protest the plight of their people and fight for a just cause.

So you want to try Nnamdi Kanu for crimes against humanity, but the thousands upon thousand of our youth who have been killed by the army and police before the creation of IPOB and MASSOB do not matter? The killers who are currently in high positions in the military and police can walk freely and enjoy life to the fullest while the families of their victims live in pain and a huge sense of loss. How about an effort to declare the genocide of over 2 million Igbos during the Biafran war and make it a global historic fact with measures put in place to prevent a recurrence. Afterall, this is what happened in Rwanda and far less people were killed in that genocide.

Some Igbos are shameless, they bask in their intellectual stupidity, they add not one iota of value to the progress and prosperity of the Igbo race. They only creep out of the woodwork like the worms they are when their businesses are threatened or when their Fulani masters tell them to. Are they not shameless people? Did they protect your mothers and daughters in the farms ? NO. Did the remove checkpoints in Igboland? NO. They were busy feasting and partying and talking crap. Their courage and power is only when it comes to attacking their own people.

Note: I am 1000000000% against the activities of UGM especially against our innocent Igbo soldiers and police.

So I say to those asking for Nnamdi Kanu to be tried to first of all call for the trial of the following people;
• SARS killers aka human organ harvesters and traders
• Military murders
• All the state criminals called governors
• All the corrupt leaders, elders, and local government officials

Both UGM at home that pull the triger that kills Igbo police and army officers are same with those in abroad who sponsor them either through their monetary contributions or moral/propaganda support like yours here in nairaland.
For you to say I am not Igbo have confirm my suspicion that you are a UGM bandit. That is their narrow way of reasoning.

To my immediate knowledge IPOB only formed an armed wing called ESN last December, the UGM ( many of their actions which we condemn ) only began about 3-4 months ago. So are you talking about 6 years of blood bath by the Nigeria government against IPOB and MASSOB members or is there something I am missing here ?

So i suspect kanu is working for the fulani.

Agitating for self determination is recognised in international law Nigeria has signed up to. The Nigerian constitution gives everyone freedom of expression. Even if I dont like what people are protesting about, I can never deny them their constitutional right to protest. But what did your Nigerian government do to unnarmed Biafran protesters? Your government sent the Army and Police to shoot, kill and brutalise innocent people. For years, this injustice continued because the Biafran protesters refused to retaliate. But there is a limit to how much injustice one can take before the react.

I dont encourage violence but I have no sympathy fir the Police and Army who are killed, they brought violence into a peaceful agitation by killing unarmed protesters

Go and tell that to ikonso's children. Tell them their father died for a fraudster in UK, while his own son still has a father.

Biafra or death, when army came he ran to UK. Sending illegally armed igbo youths to go and fight the army and police.
