Try to notice and avoid things that may trigger your symptoms. I doubt if there is a specific cure for chronic catarrh but you can get a nasal rinse or nasal spray to ease symptoms.

I do not think chronic sinusitis has a cure. I had two surgeries for it but once the weather is cold I get down, once i sniff dust, perfumes, smoke etc my nose begins to itch, eyes turns red and nose begins to run. I am in my 30's too, had it since childhood.

It is allergy, you are allergic to dust, grass, pollen, animals, or some certain foods. You have to do an allergy test to figure out the main factor.

I will advice you see a specialist asap don't take it with levity that may be sinus infection or it likes, please avoid herbs,just see a doctor, if it's blocks your nose often it call for concern, my dad suffers same for 10yr Las Las he died of that infection, the best is to visit a specialist. I wish you quick recovery

Right now I am down with catarrh,I don lick vitamin c,took ibucap cold and catarrh drug join sef....running nose,sneezing,itching eyes till it becomes red and tears drop.

maybe you have issues with your lungs.

Stop taking those medications you are taking.allow your body's natural immune system to tackle it.the more medications you take the more you suppress your immune system.so take a break.just drink plenty of water and eat right.no drugs not even multivitamins.

Mine lasted 2years when one day I decided to try erythromycin 500mg tablets. Instead of taking one every 6 hours, I took 2 and slept off. I woke up with my nose dry as f**k. However mine was a sinus infection, but till this day one of my nostril is always blocked. No remedy whatsoever. Hoping to go for surgery some day though

Can you remember if it was as a result of too much AC at home and at work?
Because I was having same issue for like 3years until a day I took someone to the hospital and the nurse on duty noticed my catarrh and then wrote something on a paper. Bought the drug and the rest is history.
Will look for the paper inside my wallet and get back to you

It could be allergies

I had catarrh for months till I visited a doctor. Some questions were asked and That was where I discovered it was allergies

Mine was due to too much sex, it got to a point I was always having catarrh cos I could not go two weeks without sex... I discovered anytime I go for a month, the catarrh goes so I had to ratio my sex life... If you fall in this category of too much sex, then reduce it and observe the catarrh...

Stay away from cold water, always take warm water and put on clothes always, no drugs can work unless you avoid cold things.

If you have been told it's chronic sinusitis, you are likely going to need a drainage.
See an ENT surgeon before it becomes complicated (the brain is so close to the sinuses).

Dude... you have chronic sinus that requires sinusplasty surgery. No amount of drugs will solve it. I was in this situation 3 years ago and I did the surgery 2 years ago in Yankee. Best decision ever. I feel for you right now. Especially that restlessness when you suppose to be sleeping. Temporary remedy is salt water in the nostril as many times as possible.
