Topmost among Non-Governmental Organizations in Abia State nay Nigeria with the soul aim of providing succour to the downtrodden at zero cost is Each One Aid One Foundation. The Foundation seemed to have existed almost anonymous of the Founder and soul financier.

However, like an old saying goes, 'there's no smoke without fire' and so we unveil the man behind the Each One Aid One Foundation. Born over four decades ago to the family of late Dr. Chima Nwafor and Dame Gladys Nwafor of Umuojima in Osisioma-Ngwa LGA is Engineer Enyinnaya Nwafor (KSC). The man, Enyinnaya Nwafor, popularly known as 'Nana,' began his academic career at the Aba/Owerre Road Primary School Aba, for his elementary school from where he was enrolled into the famous Ascension Junior Secondary School Ukwa, Abia State, for his secondary education. He later had a stint at the Federal Science School Ogoja Cross Rivers state for his preliminary studies. In 1995 Young and vibrant Nana gained admission, into the prestigious Federal University of Technology Owerri Imo state in the Department Electrical Electronics Engineering.

Expectedly, he was to graduate after a few years later, with a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons.) degree, having satisfied, rigorously, the expectations of scholarship both in character and in learning

While in FUTO, Nana, was not a run-of-the-mil student; he was rather squarely footed, not only as a briliant scholar, a student union leader but a renowned activist. He equally exhibited some traits as an emerging entrepreneur and a humanist.

Like the golden fish that has no hiding place, Nana's flare for humanity was noticeable even at an early age. As a student unionist, he bagged his first award as “NANS Student's Caesar of the year,” under the auspices of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), because of his commitment to student unionism. He also championed various advocacy interventions for good governance, quality education and so forth in FUTO, even as a student.

Engr. Enyinnaya Nwaforn, in 2008, having garnered considerable mentoring in business and management, found a pathway through goodwill, floating a company with the name Tunnel End Investment Ltd. Registered first Tunnel End as a construction company, with an initial staff strength of 5 persons, he never forget the power behind little beginning.

But today, with diligence, commitment to duty and dedication to service, has grown Tunnel End Investment Limited into a reputable conglomerate with the name Tunnel End Group of Companies, with a whopping staff strength of over 250 persons expanding its areas of interest to include Estate, Agriculture, Furniture, Production and Retail.

Tunnel End Group of Companies, now prides itself as a top-notch, sought after, service delivery conglomerate with offices in all the major cities of Nigeria while their services are synonymous with durability, quality and class. Their trademark, professionalism, are conspicuously engraved on all their projects and products.

Indeed, one of the distinguishing features of Nana is that he is an unrepentant giver, with a a heart full of human kindness. He, in his quest to drive his innocuous passion across board, founded the “Each One Aid One” with the singular most desirable mission to change the world and make it a better place.

Before venturing into what he has achieved through the Foundation, it is important we take a little look at two reasons why what he is doing might not be a surprise to many.

First is the Igbo aphorism that “the Tiger does not give birth to a coward," while the other is the Winston Churchil’s saying that, “we make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give.” As a cerebral giver, it's widely believed that he took after his late father Dr. Chima Nwafor: an accomplished Surgeon, a successful politician and two time deputy Governor of Abia State. Testimonies abound that, Dr Nwafor was as forbearing in giving as his son Nana. The senior Nwafor it was said, would administer free medical services to strangers and could, literaly, embrace the world! In fact he lived for others. No wonder, he also died for others! Today the seeds Dr. Nwafor sowed, albeit in tears, have become the delightfuly ripen fruit waiting anxiously for the harvester’s sickle. In towing Churchil’s conviction, Nwafor sees life, only, in giving. His maverick compassion elicits both a pleasant curiosity and awe that is fathomable, only, by his ilk.

Talking a little about Each One Aid One, it is no gainsaying that the Foundation has dutifully, but skilfuly, delivered the set objective for which it was founded, and stil counting. Nana, through his pet project, is stealthily moving around Abia State looking for lives to save! On the last count, thousands of people have received various levels of academic scholarship and free medical services. Thousands have equally been transformed from penury to plenty; obscurity to fame and from hopelessness to hopefulness. Similarly, through the Foundation's Project 3000, thousand of UTME candidates have been enrolled, free of charge, for the JAMB exams.

During the pandemic, the Foundation distributed food items to the civil servants from the 17 Local Government Areas of Abia State; a feat that was repeated later in Easter for all civil servants in Abia State.

Nwafor is equaly a Christian, not only at heart but in act. He has shown infectious sense of compassion to the mission field just as he has shown to the secular field. Not only is he an eclectic philanthropist, he is also an exemplary christian leader. In recognition of his avid devotion to the course of the gospel and to humanity, Nana was conferred with the Knighthood of St. Christopher KSC, by the Anglican communion.

He is also a recipient of several other awards. For instance, the Council of Knights recognized his contribution to the growth of the Council. He was also recognized as the Most Valuable Community Leader by Aba Sports Club. "The Special Friend" award by Nigerian Bar Association; Merit Awards, "Son of Consolation" by the St. Silas church Women Ministry; "Distinguished Son and Builder in God’s Temple," award, by the Diocese of Aba Ngwa North. Others are: "Award of Encouragement" by the Adventist Women’s Ministries as wel as "Ezi Enyi of the Harvest" by the Catholic Diocess of Aba and lots more.

As a thorough bred professional and a seasoned Electrical Engineer, Sir Nwafor is a member of both the Nigeria Society of Engineers and a registered member of the Council for the regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN), in addition to bagging an honorary fellow of the Nigeria Environmental Society (FNES).

Regardless his busy schedule notwithstanding, Nana also finds time to unwind. Hence, he is an active member of the legendary Aba Sports Club as well as a member of the Ngwa Patriots Forum, a foremost Ngwa elite group.

He loves sports and spends quality time with delectable wife, Dr.(Mrs) Kelechi Enyi-Nwafor, a renowned anaesthetist consultant, and his lovely children.
