It was a gladdening scenario at the recent career day ceremony of the prestigious demonstration school of the ADENIRAN Ogunsanya College of Education, AOCOED, Oto/Ijanikin, Lagos, AOCOED staff school, when pupils showcased raw brilliance and boldness by declaring interests for diverse professional domains of human endeavour.


The actions which proved that the staff school is living up to the purpose of its establishment also pleased the Head Teacher, Mr.Adetayo Sunday Ogunmade who has been holding sway as the educational technician of that AOCOED facet, bringing innovations and managing methodologies since 2012.
During this year's Event, some of the brilliant students expressed their desires for careers such as the armed forces and the medical genre, a significant indication that the are passing through thorough tutelage in the hands of their various care givers who are ruled and guided by the vision of the school which is to provide qualitative education in a friendly proximity for the staff of AOCOED.


The 2021 career day is one of the great editions used as a forum to bring stakeholders to a rendezvous to listen to and watch the pupils towards ascertaining their intelligence levels; opportunity which creates avenues to verify how much they are imparted in the school established on October 22, 1992 as LACOED Staff School to meet strategic needs.


It initially served as a unit of the institution's joint venture before going through developmental metamorphosis to suit contemporary trends in the interest of all players.
Since inception, not only has the school remained a learning citadel providing standard education, it has also remained a great source of internally generated resources (IGR) for the premier college of education in the state of aquatic splendor.


The school's management used the occasion to promise greater educational refinement to keep sustaining standard and to keep it an enviable model in the comity of demonstration schools.
