Jonathan may be right but he has to understand why. SW is able to manage its diversity because Easterners or northerners to some degree are not interfering in their diversity or unity of Yorubas.

Compared to the East, Yorubas and Fulani are constantly interfering and dividing the East which is why you have the division you see today. Prior to the divisive tactics, we had relative peace and unity.

If Yorubas and Fulani will leave the East alone, it will be the most peaceful place in the world.

You may be right but if there's no crack within, no outsider can come in. I think each region has its own strengths and weaknesses and that's why I recommend collaborations instead of competition. The former President is actually right about that area of comparative advantage of the SW, in most SW states, all the 3 religions are there and when it comes to community development, all the differences are dropped. It's worth replicating in other zones too and the SW has stuffs to learn from the other zones too.
