Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike Thursday evening received letter of approval for the construction of a law school campus in the State. Politics Hub Nigeria recalls that Gov Wike while laying the foundation for the construction of two hostel blocks and a 1,500-seat auditorium at the Bayelsa State law school campus had promised to construct a new law school campus for Rivers State if given the opportunity. The Rivers State Government spent N5billion on the project in Yenagoa, the Bayelsa State capital with criticisms from some Rivers State indigines. Barely two weeks after that demand was made, the management of the Nigerian Law School were at the Rivers State Government House to give the Approval Letter to the Governor. At a brief event at the Government House, Gov Wike said he feels a sense of honor that his request was granted within the shortest unimagined time. Investing 5b of a state in another state, is kinda of mismanagement, but he is a legal practitioner and doing everything he can to promote the profession. |

Truly Wike is an action Governor. I have my issues with him especially his anti-Igbo stance but u cannot take it away that Wike has been a talk and do Leader. He is fearless and even being in opposition he has delivered a lot on infrastructure with about 10 standard flyover already in d kitty in Port Harcourt and with d flag off of d Trans Kalabari road, he is setting a precedence difficult to equal. Wike I had always admired u but I strongly advise u to tone down your Igbophobism |
