TALES OF TWO YOUNG GIRLS: LIFE IS A CHOICE

While a young girl, Chidinma who want to live a life beyond her level, cruise with married men in SUV, spend night in 5 star hotels, drink most costly champaign, etc, is cooling her knees at Lagos State Police net, another girl, Chioma Ajunwa, who make good use of her youthful age, gave her best to win gold medal for Nigeria at Atlanta Olympic 1996, came back from the game and continue with her Police work, rose to the rank of Assistant Commissioner of Police, just received a 3 bedroom flat from the governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-olu, in fulfillment of the house promised her 25 years ago.

THE DIFFERENCE IS CLEAR

Life is a choice. You choose what you want to become. When you refuse to till the ground, and expect manner to fall from heaven, you will wait till eternity. Get out of your comfort zone, be mocked like some of us, but provided you are doing legit job, God will NEVER put you to shame. Don't follow others to live a life that is beyond you. Don't go for those things that your hands cannot reach. Those flashy things will land you in trouble. Work yourself to stardom and prove your critics wrong. Slow and steady always win the race.

Congratulations Chioma Ajunwa. You made Nigeria proud and I celebrate you more for doing away with pride, but returned back to the Nigeria Police. That is patriotism. You are indeed a Heroine.
