IYC Gives Agip Two Days Ultimatum Over Redeployed Staff. by nicholasdavout(m): 4:27pm On Jun 27, 2021
The Ijaw Youths Council (IYC) 4TH MOBILE PARLIAMENT has given the Nigerian Agip Oil Campany, two days to reinstate Bar Dennis Masi and correct all the anomaly cited in our publications and letters to the MD NAOC, most especially that of 4th December 2020 or face major resistance that will affect NAOC operations both land, swamp and Abuja headquarters.

Barr. Dennis Masi was recently redployed from his position as the manager of the company's Stakeholders management and community development division. This division is tasked with managing relations between the company and its nemerous stakeholders and host communities. Barr Masi, who hails from Omoku in Rivers was abruptly removed as head of the division and replaced with an Igbo man.

The Ijaw Youths Council (IYC) 4th Mobile, Parliament also gave notice that it will shut down the operations of the oil multinational in the swamp/ land areas and Abuja office over what it termed "ethnic cleansing" against the people of the area by the oil company.

The 4th Parliament condemned the persistent and continuous marginalization of people from the swamp and land areas of the companies operations in the managerial cadre of the company.

It will be recalled that sometime in December 2020, the Ijaw Youth Council, raised an alarm over the "ethnic cleansing" of people from the major oil-producing areas known as "LANDLORDS" by the management of NAOC in a world press conference.

The Parliament in a statement signed by the Speaker, Rt Hon, Digimie Eldred Pogonyo, drew the attention of the Minister of Petroleum and the Governors of NAOC operation areas of the marginalization of its people and equally put the security agencies on notice over the untoward happenings in the company against them.

Recall that On the 19th of January 2021 we the IYC Parliament joined the CONCERNED LANDLORDS OF SWAMP AND LAND AREA to stage a peaceful protest at the NAOC operations head office in Port Harcourt.

In the course of the protest, we noted that some of the positions within the NAOC management system have been out of limits to people from their area.

According to the group, "the best brains from the Niger Delta were been removed and replaced by staffs from the Igbo speaking areas of the country.

When we started this agitation last year many people did not believe us, some said we are attention seekers "a few hours ago our claims were vindicated as Bar, Mazi Dennis the manager of the Stakeholder Department and Community Development Division who handles community relations and public affairs from Omoku, in Rivers State was replaced by yet another Igbo man".

The following is a narration of the tales of woes of our people: .

1. Anaemia Darego who was humiliated and his family members suffered various kidnaps as orchestrated by the Igbo cabal in your company, and stagnated in your company.

2. Dr Chris Oboh who was unfairly treated and forced out by the evil fraudulent and ethnic politics of your company

3. Engr. Dienye Norman suffered badly in the hands of the cabal and was kidnapped on his way to the office under the fetish agenda of your company

4. Engr. Gerson Ogbulijah was targeted to be killed by hired assassins on his way to and from work only for him to be replaced by an Igbo man, Chris Eke

5. Emeka Okoromah was unceremoniously pushed out of the system despite his years of commitment

6. Dr Mpi, a first-class sound engineer who left the system unceremoniously.

7. Engr. Dan Jumbo, Forcefully replaced by an Ibo man.

The question therefore is, is there no other person from the swamp and land areas operation of NAOC who are qualified to fill those positions? Are those positions only suitable for Igbos and toxic to our people?.

We hereby align ourselves in support of the call from CONCERNED LANDLORDS OF LAND AND SWAMP AREAS operation calling on Landlords to be at alert, for a directive to shut down all NAOC operations within our communities until all issues are resolved".

Please, is Omoku now an Ijawland that IYC is giving ultimatum on their behalf. What do I know, he who fetches an ant-infested firewoods should not complain when lizards start paying visits

Chaiii, Engr. Gerson Ogbulijah, Mr Masi and Emeka Okoromah are now Ijaws. Oil go soon finish and ground will be level once again

Fictitious ultimatum.

Where were they when Fulani people were employed even with 2/100 score in the aptitude test.

Check the top management of NNPC, Shell and Chevron - notably Fulani and Yoruba people.

But these armchair warriors are issuing ultimatum like biscuit.
