If Igbos knew they have this great amount of gas, they would have only agitated and fought for a core Igbo country and not Biafra with very lazy ss minority tribes. Now that oil value is depreciating and the focus is now on gas, how can they put up a resistance against those who plundered as oil? 1 Like |

dre11: Something is not adding up somewhere, it's either the manufacturers are hiding something or merely grandstanding. How can you enjoy gas at $3.5/mmbtu for many years, it's increased to $5.1/mmbtu and then threaten to go to other African countries where the same gas is sold for as high as $15/mmbtu? Some will even threaten to leave Nigeria where fuel is sold at 162 to go and pay 450 in other African country, I will say bon voyage!

tellsblinks: No matter how much gas deposit a country has, there's a cost at which it can be processed to usable standard and delivered to end users safely. This cost is not free and changes with changes in foreign and domestic market realities. Except you advocate another regime of subsidy that will stifle investment in the gas sector and prone to corruption |
