"The Thief" Was Only Able To Break Into The Church Because Men Stopped Working

Jesus commanded the men of His church to watch (work righteousness) always, so that they would be always ready to receive Him whenever He returns, also, that the thief would not be able to break into their fold:

Mark 13:35-36 (KJV)

Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning:
Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping.

Luke 12:39 (KJV)

And this know, that if the goodman of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched, and not have suffered his house to be broken through.

But they went to sleep instead of watching (working righteousness) always as Jesus had commanded them to do, hence the thief (the devil) being able to break into the church to sow his evil children amongst them.

Matthew 13:25 (KJV)

But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way.

Matthew 13:38-39 (KJV)

The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one;
The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels.

Men went to sleep because they left the teachings of Jesus which taught them to watch (work righteousness) always, and started following false doctrines like the Antichrist gospel of grace which taught them that they don't have to watch (work righteousness).

So instead of watching (working righteousness) always as Jesus taught them to do, they began to sleep (work iniquity), hence it gave the devil access into the church to sow his evil seeds (children).

If the church wants to become inaccessible to the devil again, they must needs go back to the teachings of Christ which taught them to watch (work righteousness) always, and begin to be observe them again, for that's the only way they would be able to stop "the thief' from being able to break into the church to spoil things.
