The current campaign has seen a remarkable fall from grace for Brann. They have been utterly disappointing across the pitch and have been wanting in all departments. They have scored one more goal than their rivals on Wednesday with nine strikes, and are set apart by their defensive proficiency. With just nine goals conceded, the newly promoted outfit have the second-best defence in the top half of the table. Although a long shot, Lillestrom can manage a top-four placement and finish the season with Europa League qualification. To achieve this, they will want Thomas Olsen to continue his scoring spree, which has seen him score four goals in his last six outings.



Betting Verdict:

Brann has been the worst team in the Eliteserien by some margin. They have lost eight of their ten league matches, and are rooted to the bottom of the points table. Lillestrom are back in the Norwegian top-flight football and with four wins and three losses, the superior of the two sides. Although they lack the bookmakers’ confidence, we expect them to register their second victory on the road at Brann’s expense.
