A guaranteed way to get into Jamaica as a business is making affordable homes:
A lot of real estate developers are creating houses that are VERY expensive and Jamaicans are complaining!

The National Housing Trust (NHT) was established in 1976 through an amendment to the National Insurance Act of 1976. We are entrusted with the mission of increasing and enhancing the stock of available housing in Jamaica as well as providing financial assistance to the most needy of our Contributors who wish to build, to buy or to repair their homes.

Jamaican Amongst Eight Caribbean Nations that Import Most of Their Food

Fifth on the list is Jamaica, with its food imports in 2014 totaling US$824 million; food exports totaled US$234 million.

The Jamaican retail sector continues to modernize and expand, fostering increasing sales of a wide range of U.S. food and beverage products. In 2019, Jamaican total food imports were valued at US$1.025 billion, with approximately 52 percent of these imports supplied from the United States.

So thats $1Billion of imports a year in 2019 which means its probably $1.2Billion today.
So if you and your people can make these things you can be rich.

A business you can start right now with little money is a Travel Agency/Tour Business.
Just tell the Jamaican Government youre going to promote Jamaica as a tourist destination to ppl from Nigeria/Ghana/Kenya/South Africa.
As you know Jamaica doesnt get many tourists from Africa.
So im sure the Jamaican government will be eager to get your business operational

If your Travel Agency had 100 clients from Nigeria+Ghana+Kenya+SA;
you would be looking at yearly income of 25Million Naira
if 200 clients 50Million Naira
If 300 clients 75Million Naira
If 500 clients 125Million Naira

$28k. That’s too high

Nice pictures but Jamaica can be very violent too with high crime and lots of inequality. Most Jamaicans can't even afford those homes.

Really? Well, that's why students left for Ukraine to study. Because its cheap there. So you have to be strategic and plan well.

Lithuania - a shengen state- has some cheap schools in MBBS. As well as other Central European Countries in the EU. Check them out.

Maybe look at Guyana. They're a bit cheaper than Jamaica (for med school).

That sounds like the same stereotyping people do about Nigeria and Nigerians.

Most Jamaicans can't even afford those homes.

Please indicate what official information source you used to determine this.

funny. I was supposed to be in Ukraine this month. As I have already gotten admission but obviously that's a no go area. I was thinking applying to a university in Belarus for $4k but I'm thinking what if Russia has issues with Belarus

Well, thank God you stayed behind. I was a student in Belarus back in the day and still have friends in Ukraine and Russia because a lot of them moved from Belarus due to lack of jobs and an open economy - which is very important. In fact I was to visit my big bros in Russia and then this war and have been guiding him on how to survive the sanctions ordeal tech wise.

So think well and choose wisely.

Violent crime in Jamaica is gang related.

So guys,If you move to Jamaica, don't get involved with any gangs or 419ers.

And try not to make enemies grin
