Supernatural powers exist , that I'm very sure of because I've experienced it myself .

There is no free will , karma is always waiting and for every action and inaction there are consequences.

That said : the idea of Christian God is very flawed .

Men wrote the Bible .

The very first page of the Bible was written many years after Jesus' death .

The Bible originally written in the language of the people Jesus lived amongst was translated to Greek. Even Jesus' original name Yeshua was turned to Jesus .

A lot of biblical accounts were edited .

A lot of books that didn't fit into the narrative they tried to sell were exempted or completely removed .

A lot of words were mistranslated .

Man has a hand in the creation of the Bible and Christianity and at such it can never be perfect or completely true because man is heavily flawed .

God has no religion.

He's not the sole property of Christians like they want Him to be .

God is a representation of everything good in the world and goodness exists everywhere even in atheism.

At the end of the day , just live your life right .

While I do not believe in hell , there is indeed punishment for every sin ...here and in the afterlife .

So doubting the existence of God does not completely exempt you from your responsibilities as a human .

Cos believe me , Karma is very real .

Thanks for this

Re: My Confusion About God And The Scriptures. by APOSTLECHUMA: 6:56pm On Jul 01
READ THIS, IF YOU WANT TO KNOW WHY GOD ALLOWED THE FALL OF MANKIND THOUGH BEING OMNISCIENCE, HE KNEW ABOUT IT AND BEING OMNIPOTENT, HE HAD THE POWER TO STOP IT BUT DID NOT. THE FALL OF MANKIND WAS NOT AN ACCIDENT BEFORE GOD, BUT HIS PERFECT PLAN AS THERE IS NO WAY WE CAN IMPUTE THE WORD OMNISCIENCE UNTO HIM, IF HE DIDNT KNOW ABOUT IT. GOD HAS MANY ATTRIBUTES, HE HAS THE ATTRIBUTE TO BE OUR SAVIOUR, TO BE OUR HEALER ETC. TO BE OUR SAVIOUR, THERE HAS TO BE FALLEN HUMAN RACE TO SAVE OR IT WILL BE IMPOSSIBLE FOR HIM TO DISPLAY THAT ATTRIBUTE. HE IS OUR HEALER, BUT HOW ON EARTH WAS GOD GOING TO MANIFEST HIS POWER TO HEAL, IF HUMAN BEINGS HE CREATED, DONT GET SICK ? IF YOU GO TO THE UNIVERSITY AND STUDY MEDICAL SCIENCE AND COME OUT AS A MEDICAL DOCTOR AND THERE IS NO SICK PERSON ON EARTH THAT WILL REQUIRE YOUR SERVICES, CAN YOU PRACTISE ?. THE ANSWER IS NO, THE FALL OF MANKIND ONLY OPENED UP THE DOOR FOR GOD TO MANIFEST HIS POWER TO SAVE AND HEAL ETC THOUGH HE DIDNT DIRECTLY CAUSE IT. THE FALL OF MANKIND AND THE REASON WHY GOD ALLOWED IT, IS ONE OF THE HIDDEN MYSTERIES IN THE BIBLE THAT GOD PROMISED WERE GOING TO BE REVEALED IN THIS END TIME AS CONTAINED IN DANIEL 12-4 AND REV 10:1-7 AND ALL THESE MYSTERIES, INCLUDING THE MYSTERY OF HELL, WITH ITS 3 DIFFERENT APPLICATIONS, THE MYSTERY OF WHO THE ANTICHRIST IS, THE MYSTERY OF THE ACTUAL SIN THAT TOOK PLACE IN EDEN, THE MYSTERY OF GATHERING TOGETHER OF THE TARES IN MATTHEW 13 FOR BURNING, WHICH WE NOW SEE IN ECUMENISM AND INTERFAITHISM, THE MYSTERY OF THE GREAT WOMAN OF REV 17 CALLED MYSTERY BABYLON THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS, WHICH IS THE ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH WITH HER HARLOT DENOMINATIONAL DAUGHTERS HAVE ALL BEEN REVEALED. I CANT GO INTO THE MYSTERY OF THE FALL OF MAN AND WHY GOD ALLOWED IT AND THE MANY OTHER ONES AS IT WILL BE TOO LENGTHY BUT LET ME TOUCH THE MYSTERY OF HELL FIRE A LITTLE. NB: THE WORD HELL, HAS 3 APPLICATIONS IN THE BIBLE. 1 IT MEANS GRAVE, 2, IT MEANS PRISON HOUSE WHERE FALLEN ANGELS AND SINNERS ARE KEPT IN CHAINS AWAITING TRIAL AND LASTLY, IT MEANS A BURNING FIRE. BIBLE SAID THAT GOD WASNT GOING TO LEAVE THE SOUL OF CHRIST IN HELL, AND HERE, GRAVE WAS MEANT AS CHRIST WENT TO THE GRAVE (HELL) BUT GOD RESURRECTED HIM. 1 PET 3:18-20, WHEN CHRIST DIED, HE WENT TO HELL AND PREACHED TO SOULS THAT DIDNT REPENT IN THE DAYS OF NOAH AND THE HELL MEANT IN THIS SECOND APPLICATION IS THAT HELL OF AWAITING TRIAL, WHERE FALLEN ANGELS AND SINNERS ARE KEPT. LASTLY, THE 3RD APPLICATION OF HELL IS THAT IT IS A BURNING FIRE. IN REV 20-14, HELL (THAT PRISON HOUSE FOR LOST SOULS) AND DEATH, WERE CAST INTO THE LAKE OF FIRE AND THE BIBLE DESCRIBED THIS AS THE 2ND DEATH. THE LAKE OF FIRE IS THE ACTUAL HELL FIRE AND ONLY THOSE WHO LACK DEEP REVELATIONAL POWER OF BIBLE WILL CONTRADICT THEMSELVES AND NOT GOD. GOD WROTE THE BIBLE IN SUCH A WAY THAT NO MATTER HOW LEARNED YOU ARE, YOU MUST BE INSTRUCTED BY THE REAL AUTHOR (THE HOLY SPIRIT) BEFORE YOU CAN KNOW IT. OUTSIDE THIS, WE HAVE CONFUSION EVERY WHERE AND THE CONFUSION IS EVERY WHERE BECAUSE THEOLOGIANS ARE INTERPRETING IT WHEN THEOLOGY ITSELF IS FROM SATAN AND HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH GOD. I COULDNT SUPPLY BIBLE VERSES BECAUSE OF SPACE, CALL 07054142412 IF YOU HAVE ANY BIBLE QUESTION THAT YOU HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR ITS ANSWER FOR DECADES OR EMAIL- cfountainoftruth@gmail.com

The Christian concept of a god has failed all test and if everyone should be sincere, we know he doesn’t exist. They are just trying hard to hold on to the lies in the stories by concocting more lies.

People will always feel threatened when you tell them their god doesn’t exist even when you present overwhelming evidence. That’s how dogmatism work.

The Christian description of a god is laughable, illogical, ridiculous and overwhelmingly irrational. It doesn’t agree with anything in reality.
what about Islam!!!!

For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved, it is the power of God

For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.

Where is the wise? Where is the scribe? Where is the disputer of this world? Hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world?

But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost.
In whom the god's of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God should shine unto them

How do you guarantee freewill if you're omniscience and omnipotent

it's good that you're open minded.

Read a book titled "The 24 Elders - Before the Fall" it's even written by a Nigerian. You'll get some good insight to all your questions.

I have been thinking about this lately and decide to share it here. Don't get me fellas, I'm a Christian and believe in God and his son Jesus Christ

BUT

It is believe that God created the world and knows what happened before, what is happening presently and what will happen later till the end of time. This brings me question on why he allowed Satan to decieve man, why was he also angry since He knew beforehand of what will happen? Then the consequent punishment, was it really justified?

The most confusing part to me now is life after death. I personally believe that there is heaven and hell right from my childhood days until one guy (Jehovah witness) told me that there is nothing like hell, he went on that even heaven is for a specific number of choose people and not for everyone, above all, he said that when one dies, your own is finished and you are not gonna go anywhere. Simply put, your body and spirit will die.

I nearly insulted him for spewing such rubbish but many years after, I'm beginning to think think twice about this issue.
Now, imagine suffering in this life for all the days of your life only to meet death (body and spirit),

My question is;

1) why not just enjoy your life even if it means doing bad things to enjoy life?
If you can't enjoy life, why not kill yourself and rest to avoid the sufferings?

2) Even if there is life after death, what if there is no suffering cos God may decide to give everyone peace after death.

3) Those that didn't hear anything about God, what is their fate?

4) which of the scriptures is to be trusted?

May God forgive my ignorance if what I just wrote is bad and punishable.
Your challenge is that you are listening to wrong teachings. The word doesn’t contradict itself and God does not change His mind.
The question I have for you is, what did you hear that made you believe in the first place? Did you receive Christ out of conviction of truth or out of fear?
Mind you, spirits don’t die, spirits are eternal beings. If spirits die, then it means God has an expiry date.
Don’t be like the Galatians that started well and ended up being swayed away from the truth.
Right teaching produces right believing, and right believing produces right living.
Be careful who you listen to so you don’t waste your life.
If you need me, I’m available. Blessings!!

Hello Bro. I understand how you feel. I have also felt similarly at some points having many questions to ask and seeking answers to same.
I have found out that all the answers to these questions are in the Bible and the HolySpirit will help us discover them when we ask sincerely.

God is not against your asking questions. Don't feel bad about that. He loves you and wants to have a closer walk with you. I believe that's the reason you want to know more: you also desire a closer walk with Him.

Would you please follow our page on Facebook @LifePortConnect then ask your questions. We will be able to guide you on the answers you seek as the Holy Spirit helps us.

Sorry. I don't get your point

The point is Eve hard sex with the devil, then went on to have sex with Adam at almost the same interval and that sex is the popular "Fruit"

Devil has no power to posses human, so the only way to gain entrance is to deposit his seed in human.

After Eve had sex with the devil and went on to have sex with Adam, she conceived 2 kids (She had twins) from two fathers... (Make a research and you'll find out a woman can carry twins with different father)

Why did God rejected Kane offering? No pastor can tell you the reason, they'll tell you Kane gave bad offerings. The offering rejection has nothing to do with what Cain offered, but because Cain wasn't a child from Adam, but a son of God's enemy.

The first evil perpetrated on humanity was carried out by the Devil son's Cain.

Anyways, Does God Exist? Yes! Who is GOD,? A Spirit being know as the First Cause. Science says everything manifested in the universe has a cause. The light in the universe is from the sun, the water is from the seas, the humans come from other humans ad infinitum. This, who caused the universe to appear? In the days of Albert Einstein et al, it was discovered that the universe had a beginning. If it had a beginning, then who began the universe? It must have been an entity who is above the universe and not physical that brought forth the universe. God the Spirit can only the known by the Spirit and Word(truth). He can't be deduced from empirical analysis or experiments.

Science did not say everything has a cause, that’s your own version of distorting fact to suit your argument.

Even if god exist, there’s about 1 in 4,200 probability that it’s the Christian God.

When we look at the world today , the animals ,the changes of whether, seasons, the way our body works, who tells the animals to migrate for a particular reasons, the position of the earth compared to other planets. Don't you think someone created them?. Everything except God was created. For we humans we create every thing we need. Computers houses, spaceships etc, they didn't just come by chance. We plant some of our foods to grow from the ground. Have you studied the science of plants germinating?. Was it by Chance or someone made all this things to happen. God created every human or angel with a gift called "Free will" And that's why humans has the right to decide which part they want to follow. God couldn't destroy Satan in the garden of Eden after what he did for a reason. Which is Satan lies has to be over turned. Satan lied about Gods sovereignty and lied that Adam and Eve won't die after eating the fruit . And remember Adam and Eve were perfect humans and a perfect being had to take us away from sin. And for the brother that says God doesn't exist. The bible spoke about a prophesy that the land of Babylon would never be inhabited again. Do you know its still unhabitable today as we speak. Is just by Chance it happen or because someone higher made it that way.

Try not to mix things up. I did not say they are different, i said from the perspective of the old and new testament, then the Quran. So it's left for you to analyze.

A mistake many people make today is saying Allah is a different God. It's just a language difference of saying God.

In yoruba, God means Olohun, Igbo it means Chukwu or Chineke, in Arabic it means Allah. It's just a language difference, it doesn't mean Allah is a different God just because the arabs don't speak english.

God is conceived of as the supreme being, creator, and principal object of faith.

Let's say it in this way. There is a creator of the earth, except if you don't believe there is a creator, then all this discussion isn't necessary. Logically, there is one creator, not two. So if Christians in old testament says it's just one creator called God, then in new testament they believe it's not one God, but 3 God's making one, then Muslims believe there is only one God.

The only difference here are those of the new testament who believe there are 3 God's in one.

Basically, the way the people in new testament view God is different from those of the old testament and the Muslims.

However, in real sense there is a creator, and he's one. No matter how a religion perceive God to be, either from roman, or arab perspective doesn't change the logic that there is one creator, the culture difference doesn't make the creator of the earth different.

You see this is the reason why our society is in a mess. you claim to know Christ and yet very wicked and hateful towards your neighbors. when last did you help someone in need near you? brother Christianity, Islam whatever are all man made. seek the true god within you and you will see clearly.
To give to the poor is one teaching of Christianity but don't think ones I am giving then I'm a good Christian. There are people who give but in their heart lies wickedness; that's the devil and his children like you.
Repent and be born again and you shall receive eternal life.

Your position about religion is quite interesting. I got your point now.

So does it means that there is no God or a supernatural being greater than humans or you simply believe that organized religion all over the world is a scam?

Sorry for the many questions brother

Have you ever wondered who created the birds, land and the sea?

The Bible made us understand that God created all of this things we see

And he created us in his own image and bestowed his wisdom unto us

A perfect example Is this, all the things that man has created since the beginning of time has always been a copied work of God

For example the airplane that you see looks like a flying bird, the Porsche car looks like a dolphin, the robots looking like man and etc like that

God does exist and he superceeds us in all

Just because you can't see him doesn't mean he's not there

Let's take for example your intestines, you cant see them but they help you process foods but yet you can't see them

Just as God is there helping you through life and you can't see him

But if you ever doubt the Bible, read the book of revelation that was written many years ago and you will get to understand and realize the manifestation of things in the present world

Also if you still doubt God, I'll advise that you lookup videos of Angels been caught on camera (I will not advice you to do that though because the Bible says blessed is he that has not seen but yet believes)

I am a curious cat so I have seen those things

Also if you doubt there's God look up demon's getting cast out then u will understand that there is a higher force out there

Really sorry about the long text....

I disagree. To make this simple. You have to research into the main book of religions to get your answer.

This cannot be discussed by just our own way of reasoning, it's better to look into what really stands for christianity then Islam, you will understand better.

I wanted you to do that. I have done that myself. I researched christianity and Islam. I've done that for a long time. Islam and christianity have many things in common. Just that many people don't have time to look into.

You will find out that both religions have so much in common. Just minor difference due to our perception.

Also, the way of worship is different.

For other religions, they are different from the two main ones. Some believe in objects, some in other humans, and some believe there is one God.

There are lots i like to talk about but it's not easy typing

To answer this question. Please and please, don't attack me here. We are here to liberate ourselves.

To understand the concept of God
I know people who were in this situation. I mean it.

To get your answers. Read the two major scriptures we have.

If you're a christian, read the bible from start to finish, then read the Quran. Brother, i bet you you will find your answer. Don't say ohh, a christian reading the Quran. It doesn't harm. It's on Google play, if it's not a good book to read it won't be there.

You can read both simultaneously. I bet you brother. In Africa we are so fanatical. Not saying you should be a muslim. Just read the Quran from the first chapter. Before you finish 5 pages or the second chapter you will start getting your insights answers. You're learned, so no one can twist your mind.

Anyone can read it as well. Let's leave our differences.

I researched many of the religious books before coming to this realization. There is no way to conclude that Zeus is Hebrew God. The assumption that they are one and the same would require a huge logical leap which is the end would be meanings. In much the same way, Allah cannot be the same as the Hebrew God, and this again because their very characters and description differs a great deal. Amadioha is not the same God as Obatala neither is Eledumare. undecided

So instead I came to conclusion that there are many gods - a hierarchy of gods - each with different characters and different, and many of them, if not all, pretending to be the one and only, however the #1 is the Most High, the Sovereign one. undecided

grin mathematician, why are you doing ojoro in adding this part after I have answered you? grin

As a champion will always put a novice to shame, so also a mathematician must give a high answer to the nursery student such that the student's mouth will open and nothing comes out.

Funny how it is student who has answered the mathematician and the mathematician WAS THE ONE SILENT.

KAI! SHAME FULL!!! grin
this is like convincing a crawling child that walking is better... you are still in your crawling stage...
