The provision of Land Use Act of 1978 is clearly enshrined in the constitution, that ALL LANDS IN THE STATES BELONG TO THE GOVERNMENT OF THE STATES FOR AND ON BEHALF OF THE PEOPLE OF THAT STATE, thereby vesting the administration and control of land exclusively under the authority of state governors so I don't know what the dumb Buhari and his northern terrorists are talking about, for the Presidency the language is clear, either south gets it or we cut ties with terrorist republic of northern terrorists Nigerians. They are afraid that a southern President will prosecute them for their crimes, Yes you all must pay for the lives and properties lost to your govt abated terrorism, Miyetti Allah kauto Hore will be declared as terrorist group officially as it's long over due to call those smelling vagabonds what they are and prosecute them accordingly as the 4th cowardly terrorist group that they are according to global terrorism index. Good morning Southerners oh.
But how do some people think/believe that after what the North/Fulani has done under Buhari's tenure that they will agree to give power to the South so that they will do them their own back?

Actually they are right u can’t compel them because it’s not in the constitution, it has to be agreed upon, same way the North couldn’t stop Jonathan from contesting after completing yaradua’s 1st tenure and even contesting 2 other tenures, the 1 which he won and 2nd which he lost to Buhari.

Rotation is and understanding based on circumstances not on law. If u are objective they are right. That said it doesn’t mean they can’t agree with the south if properly discussed and pushed bt u can’t compel them.

2ndly and more importantly than even what the North thinks is the question of the unity of the south. Is the south really united now??

Will Igbo’s support a candidate from south west or will Yoruba’s support an Igbo candidate?? This is the big problem not what the North are saying. Lol

Look at them.

They are proud to talk about the fact that they have reproduced like rabbits.

How much of their population is useful?

Most of them are national security threats at worst and at best are complete invalids.

True.

The South should select one candidate.

Once that is done, nobody can stop him from becoming president.

At this juncture it means we are no longer one Nigeria because we can't move forward like this.

Let the country divide which is anyway the best option for us

When this same zoning arrangement reached the North's turn, nobody complained, it wasn't "unconstitutional and against the tenets of democracy " now that it's time to respect the due process, they wanna scatter the arrangement lool. Typical snakes nd traitors. The writing on the wall couldn't be any clearer. These guys intend to hold on to power beyond 2023. Indeed interesting times ahead cheesy

It's a lie, Gej contested even when obj said it was the turn of the north, let's speak with fact not sentiment,
Is zoning in our constitution??
Southern presidency will only benefit one man,his family and friends

The Train has left the station, these Fulani elders calling themselves 'Northern Elders' are late to the party. Governor Zulum on Channels TV interview this morning said the North East Governors at their meeting yesterday agreed that power should go to the South in 2023, he said that was the position agreed by APC in 2014.
Middle Belt have also agreed that power should move to the South. So who does NEF represent apart from Fulanis?

But how can a Country be United and move forward with such level of conflict(s) of interests?

Even if it moves to the South in 2023, there would be some level of animosity between guys like this NEF and the government. How long can the country continue that way?

The process of producing the next president should be settled democratically and based on the structure of each political party. I am a northerner and I like Tinubu to be the next president, but not on the basis of sentiment against the
North

The next president (should Nigeria still exist by 2023) SHALL be a Southern Christian.

Exactly bro. The North already know ln idea that it’s the turn for the south bt some are saying this because they are in doubt of the south agreeing on a candidate having 2 major regions leaving it up to the North to manipulate or decide for them as usual.

That's the way to go, and let's see irrespective of the population of the North, if they can have the spread as required to be declared winner of a presidential election as stipulated by the constitution.

We rise by lifting others

Spread the news brother. Let all Southerners stand on one ground.

Anytime they want to have their way, they will divide the south. It won't work again

Tinubu and Uzodinma must not be there.

Southerners should only consider true southerners. People like Akerodolu in APC and Okowa in PDP.
Kingsley Muoghalu and his likes should also be considered.
