It's obsolete. I know just one guy that uses a Z30 as back-up phone. They got comfortable and failed to innovate their OS and lost market share rapidly to Samsung and Apple. When they discontinued the BBM messenger that was the final deathblow that made it all but useless.

I still miss BlackBerry phones a lot.
Their build and keypads made them unique.
Typing was a lot faster.
Unlike BBM that offers excellent privacy, WhatsApp has sacrificed our privacy.
My last BlackBerry phone was a Passport and I love the shape of that device.
The smartphone looks classy.

That was how my neigbour bought iPhone 12 for #10,000 (ten thousand naira).
She was advised to charge the phone for 12hours, never to xharge it with generator light and remove the charger before oning the device.
In short, she used generator light, con on am after one hour and the iPhone displayed Nokia hand shake!.
Me I've told her to be calm, it might be Nokia has bought apple.�����

Decided to go hunt for one today. I could not find my choice (bold 5... or z10). Luckily I saw a Blackberry z30.
Got it quite cheap grin

Using it to post this now.
I must say.... Blackberry in it's extinct nature is still better than some 2021 tecno and infinix. cheesy

Never used a BB.
When I wanted to use one in 2013, I went for a Nokia e-72 instead. I used it till 2020.
Around late February this year, I wanted to buy same e-72 but I didn't see at Emeka Offor Onitsha.
I decided to go for e-63 instead.

I just thought that instead of buying a small brand new phone of 4-7k, I can go for a used symbian and use for a second phone. The Nokia e-63 works fine.
What a device the e-series was.
I still have the e-70 somewhere in a locker in my village.

I still own a BlackBerry curve 4 that I bought in 2013. It still works perfectly and and has never been repaired; even my Nokia E71 from 2009 is still alive.

I have a BlackBerry Porsche Design 2 (P'9982). It's a very good phone. It comes with 64 gig internal memory and over 500 gig memory card... 2 gig ram. The camera is quite sharp. It has a leather cover. Runs on snapdragon... can't remember. Runs WhatsApp as well as some android app. The bad part is that it hangs and can get hot for Africa.

I still own a bb curve 4 in a perfect working condition with loud and clear fm stations. The fm stereo on curve 4 makes it very unique. The fone is very portable as it fits into Ur palm.
