Seems to be a software issue. Update software if possible. If not take to nokia care. Phone is under Warranty. End of Warranty: 02-09-2011

Format memory card in phone.
Try a Factory reset(Restore Defaults), in settings menu.
If problem persists, take phone to Nokia care point.

I bought new nokia2690. Any time I want to connect to internet using USB and PC suite version 7.1 I normally used on my nokia3110c. It doesn't connect with nokia2690 instead I get message like "No modem found or No response from host". Please how can i resolve this issue? Thanks.

Phones purchased in Dubai doesn't have warranty in Nigeria. Still you can take the phone to Nokia care point for an paid Unlock.

A reset by dialing *#7370# may solve your problem.

Delete all the access points and receive new settings from provider.
Try updating the firmware.

Since you have been tried all possibilities from your side, take phone to Nokia care for Service.

On my Nokia X2-01,chat function is not updating.Error message shows every time as "Unable to complete request.Try again." and "check your internet connection settings". Other functions like Nokia Mail,default browser,Ovi Browser etc,are connection to internet also.But only the problem is in Nokia Chat which is not getting updated and not allowing to go to next step for signing up Yahoo Messenger or Hotmail Messenger or GTalk?
