I am making use of a nokia asha 210...but since i connected it with the wi-fi in my office the phone seems to be misbehaving,it goes off and on toooo frequently n its not yet up to a month old....also when i try to watch a video on youtube it only loads to about 60percent n it says no response datz wiv wifi meanwhile wiv my normal data bundle i can watch videos.....please what should i do...thanks

return it if your warranty is still valid.
Incase it is not, you need to flash it because it seems your firmware is corrupt.

@stanliwise, someone told me that the buy request will stop if i upgrade the firmware and that i can also start transfering files through the bluetooth after the upgrading. How possible is that?

Dat is not upgrading.
It is rooting, rooting means to gain super-user mode and to unlock all the protection made by your manufacturer.
It give you the full power of your phone e.g get nice app, send any app, upgrade your os to any version.
But it also has it down side e.g
1.it VOID your WARANTY.
2. It can brick your phone i.e destroy your phone permanently.
Any way seek more advise if you must do it

i bought my lumia 520 3 months ago in Lagos. The wi-fi jus stopped working less than 4 weeks of using the phone. I have restored factory settings as recommended on nokia forum. what is the next thing......pls i earnestly need your help cos d fone has been useless since then. i used to connect it to my pc and work wi-fi thabx

connect ur lumia to your pc. it will show u the lumia icon under my computer. when u open d icon, it will show u 2 memories...phone and sd card. open the phone memory , u wil see the music file or ringtone file. copy your desired song into these files and detach ur fone.
u can then go to ur fone sttings and pik d song.

1.make a hard reset frm the setting-security,.......etc
2.or if it fail then flash it.

I write a lot of long articles and my Nokia Asha 210 has a message capacity of 5000 characters when I type online using opera mini, eg sending mails, posting on Facebook, etc. But when i type on the text message section of the phone, it's just about 750 characters.

My problem is that this 5000 characters for typing messages is not enough for me at all. Also, after typing, my phone cannot copy and paste all the messages at once. I would have to divide the message into 5 or 6 parts b4 it can successfully copy it one after the other. My questions are as follows:

1. Is it possible to install any software on my phone that can make me write long articles and e-books at once, of say 10,000 characters or more?

2. My phone's 'Notes' section is just maximum of 3000 characters for one message. Is it possible to increase this as well using any device or software?

3. Can i also get a device that can make me able to copy and paste my message at once on another part of the phone no matter how long the message is without having to copy it in bits?

4. Let's assume the above is not possible, can u recommend any other Nokia smart phone that can do all this?

I have a laptop but it's cheaper browsing with my phone because laptop exhausts the megabytes faster than phone.

So i've decided to be using my phone most times. That's why i need a better phone that can do it for me.

if that's the case then download a notepad for your asha phone. you can search ovi store for dat or through other site for your phone typ.
