Prices of food have skyrocketed like mad. A cube of Maggi is now 10naira in my area.

Specifically, plantain is cheaper in the east than on the north be cos it's tree is not grown here. same with fish cheaper in Bayelsa than the north

Maize is 900 from 400 and cassava (rogo) is now 1000 from 500.

The only food items that are cheap are those that are planted there, and plantain is not one of them.
