Marriage doesn't guarantee that you will be happy together for ever, it's just paper. It takes trust, commitment, respect, understanding, friendship and faith in your relationship to make it last.
Too many people back down for so little reasons. Trivial things excalate to major irreparable issues because no one wants to shift ground for the other. Communication is imperative for a sustainable relationship. It's not just about you, listen and hear your spouse. It is disheartening that many people invest so much on marriage ceremonies but don't invest in complimenting their differences to see it being worth it.
