Total money circulated in the East one month leading to the event between June 16 - July 16: over 55 billion Naira circulated by private individuals, with zero contribution by the government. Airlines and Private Jets: over 10 billion Naira in sales Hotels in the East - largely Anambra, Enugu, Imo, Delta, Akwa Ibom, Cross River, Rivers, Ebonyi, Abia: Over 50 billion Naira in sales Restaurants and joints: over 11 billion Naira in sales Transporters: over 500 million Naira in sales Hospitals: over 100 million Naira in sales Charity and free food to the poor: over 300 million Naira Livestock - over 500 cows, including 300 by Cubana and the rest by restaurants: over 200 million in sales to mostly Fulani sellers Market and Food Stuff: Over 200 million Naira iin sales to market people Police, Private Security and escort services : over 500 million Naira. (Government/Police benefited too. I'm sure Abba Kyari raked in nothing less than 200million from his side alone providing police escort and security to over 100 big personalities that showed up. Which is why he was around there, lot of money involved, not just knowing Cubana personally.) Hotels The fact is there are more hotels in the East per street than any other regions in Nigeria. In fact it's been said that the number of hotels alone in Imo state totals all hotels in the North and SW minus Lagos and Abuja. Sames for restaurants and joints. Anyone who frequents the East knows that the hotels are packed to capacity during festive periods and big events like this. When Anambra, Imo and Enugu is filled up, visitors will starting booking up neighboring states like Abia, Delta, Rivers, Akwa Ibom and Cross River since they are all close by or within 1-2 hrs drive. Average standard hotel has about 100 rooms, with an average of 40k a night during big events, a standard hotel makes about 4-5million a day, x 30 days, about = 120 million/month. Then multiply that by over 300 major hotels in the region. 5 Likes

My uncle hotel in Owerri is always packed whether festive or not. When I worked there during holidays 6million/day is not unusual as the VIP suites go up to 95k a night, there were 20 of them out of 80. 3 Likes |

The envious bastards are only angry that the stimulation took place in Igboland. They're even more angry that the famed talk about Igbos having the highest concentration of rich people is indeed a fact. Many of this unfortunate haters now open one stupid thread after another and keep lamenting how Obi Cubana didn't build a highway in his village instead of lavishing money during his mother's burial. Another re.tar.ted fool called rossikpu or whatever even opened another ridiculous thread about how rich Igbos don't help their people like the hausas 1 Like |
