In my hood in Pedro Palm Grove in Lagos,

We didn't even flinch during the heavy rain

Zero flooding, dry land even during the rain

One of the luckiest and flood- less areas of Lagos is Shomolu, Pedro, Palm Grove and some parts of Bariga

Tarred or inter-locked roads and good drainage system in most parts of Palm Grove/ Pedro.

I strongly recommend these areas if you want floodless Lagos

Lagos and flood ehn, especially those Lagos island places

That Lekki is a glorified shíthole, I remember back then when I rented a duplex for about 7 figures and when there was an heavy downpour

my car got spoilt and my compound and street was like a local river, after the fraud agent have assured me that the place is a good area that isn't prone to flood. after few days there i got so angry, got my money back and looked for a good place, I can't come and kill myself

Anyone who doubts what BABA did in the times of Noah should repent and ask for Mercy.

Folks! What we are seeing now all over the world is " Testing ! Testing" GOD is testing the Mic all over the World.

If you Have hope on Government, technology, your Pocket or whatever, you are totally missed it!
This Ship is Sinking !
The Life Boat is JESUS Christ.
Just as Noah and his family were Saved in the ark. JESUS is set to Harpazo His Children outta here. If you are left behind, it is unfortunate.
All that is Needed a Genuie surrenderness to JESUS Christ.
Ombre!! Stop this rubbish okay!

It is near the beach sometimes when heavy rain falls the sea will spill over and any building near the beach will be affected. They are not supposed to build houses near the beach.

you mean this is the end of the world? revelation ??

I don't know, but the signs will continue to be fulfillled till the very end. The wisdom of man will be made foolish, and His word made True. I have dreamt of the end time and I felt the urgency. A lot will go go really bad going forward.

I think you're the one bitching around.
May God open your eyes.
I use to be as stupid as you.

But, I'm hopeful for you.
Btw, ignorance is relative.

Quit acting like a winy bitch in heat.
I was certain there's nothing in that coconut head of yours which was why you retorted to insults.
You speak of ignorance, are you aware of it's meaning? Because everything about you reeks of ignorance
You make assumptions, no fact, no logical explanation

But I don't mind coming down to your level to school you,
Because I believe you were probably one of those who sat in the classroom, listen to their lecturer and pass via la cram la por

You are an example of an educated illiterate dude
I believe people like you usually who reside to their problem as the will of God, that's an act of laziness and stupidity

Listen, I can tolerate a stupid fellow but not one who spread stupidity
The audacity of the likes of you to link this flood to that of Noah's story
That's just dumb and sad!!

If only you didn't read your Bible upside down, you would have known that God made a convenant with Noah and the rainbow is an evidence of the convenant, God promised not to destroy the earth with water

And what the Bleep were you saying about rapture? End time? Seriously? I never knew there was premium level of ignorance

In one of the synoptic gospels, Jesus told a parable, *the lord will come like a thief in the night, meaning, it is when we least expected*

Don't you dare allude to revelation because I'm pretty sure you haven't read nor can you comprehend the book of revelation.
Things like flood, diseases, sickness were always there from the beginning of time

But I don't expect you to know that since you refer to religion in every problems and aspect of your life

You don't have hope if you are dumb and lazy

Lastly, you better change this your mentality
Yes!! God is the greatest and our saviour but stop linking your maker as the reason for your problem
The poorest countries in the world are the most religious
If you can't make anything from this post, don't quote me!

It was a disaster as most areas of lekki phase 1 were nearly engulfed by flooding which emanated from the heavy rain that fell on Friday 16th of July 2021.

People's home, properties and the major road which leads to ajah, lekki free zone and epe became dangerous for motorists and even the pedestrians.

It is no joke that the power of water knows nothing about high building, bungalow, luxurious hotel and cars, or neither does it respect individual status.

Some European countries have recently recorded numerous death resulting from the incidence of heavy flooding. May we not have such experience this year coz it seems the raining pattern of this year might be very unfriendly.

Na why Lagos can never be my thing no matter the benefits!

This one small nah. the flood wey i see for okota, coming from festac Friday plenti pass dis one.

A good reason I'd not live in that place called lekki. Water dem no get, light, dem no get, access roads, na just one road. They live fake lifestyle. I warned my friend working with an oil and gas a few years back to think carefully before moving into his 26m duplex ( 2014 to be precise). Each time I visit this guy and use his gents, the water would be like eruku oshodi tea colour when I flush . He spends millions treating water. He spends millions on diesel every month , when it's not an office residence. On the mainland where I live, there's at least 22 hours power everyday, we enjoy good water and environment. Those living at lekki are simply keeping up with the jonesis. My friend is now thinking of selling the building. Once it rains, he can't move in his car. He'd have to stop midway and park then wade through the flood home. His mainland new house is almost done...penny wise pound foolish I'd say.
22hrs light for lagos? Where be that
