It is embarrassing to read that some Yorubas are begging Buhari to pardon or forgive or give amnesty to Sunday Igboho or Kanu. What is their crime? Do you want them to fold their hands while Fulanis kill their people the way they are doing in the North? When did secession, self-determination become a crime?
Anyway, you just have to know that freedom doesn't come free. It is never given on a platter of gold, it's rather taken from the oppressors with force. Even Nelson Mandela formed different armed wings to fight apartheid and imperialism and became the longest political prisoner for his people to be free. Those mocking Igboho and Kanu should not be like Gowon who fought for one Nigeria but later lost the land to Fulanis who kill his people every day while he wanders about asking people to pray. I take those mocking them as the bandits or Fulanis. Those who can't see beyond their regions will be shocked when the killings in the north are brought to south. We study the North and worry because when they succeed in the north, they are coming to south. Fulanis plan ahead, just like sending the former Emir Sanusi to Lagos. No one plans for the indigenous Nigerian tribes. They are after money from Fulani tables to buy cars, build houses travel abroad or marry new wives while Fulani has planned how to take over every part of Nigeria in the next 50years. It has worked in the north. Now, they are settling their people in the rural villages so that attacks will be easy. Those ones in the rural villages will harbour and provide information for them. There will be an enemy within and once there is an enemy within, the wall must crack.
So allow people to say their mind, agitate and pay the prices for others and the future generation to be free. If your life does not matter, why are you in Nigeria? If the lives of Benue, Kaduna, Zamfara, Kastina etc people don't matter, why do you think your life matters? Stop deceiving yourself and face the reality on ground.
Tinubu is a politician and businessman, it doesn't bother him if half of Yoruba people are killed by Fulani. He may not even talk or condemn the killing. He is after his political interest. We pray for more large-hearted and resolute people like Igboho and Kanu to rise so that this Fulani madness will be over. We don't want a country where news headlines are all about killings. We are not vampires. Fight and pay the price for your children. Let's build a southern Nigeria where no armed Fulani killer will invade at night and kill anyone. Life is precious.

What is their crime? The likes of Dim Ojukwu, Nnamdi, Igboho, DJ switch and others

What crime did they commit? Is it criminal to speak the truth?

Let’s not make false statements.

Under the Nigerian Constitution, no part of Nigeria has the power to form its own independent government or secede from the country. In fact, the word 'secede' does not appear in the Constitution.

The nearest answer to this is found in Article 2 of the constitution, which states that Nigeria is one indivisible and indissoluble sovereign state to be known by the name of the 'Federal Republic of Nigeria'. This means the only way to legally grant such an option is through an amendment to the law.

While there have been calls for a referendum, the constitution of Nigeria only addresses two scenarios where a referendum is recognised – state boundary adjustment and the recall of a member of the National Assembly.
