Zakzaky had been in detention for 4 years before Sowore was arrested. As at the time Ighobo was arrested yesterday, Zakzaky had spent 6 years in detention and still counting.
Another Northerner from the Sokoto Royal Family, Sambo Dasuki was arrested by Buhari's government 6 years ago also. He was arrested for spending money he said a Southerner, Good luck Jonathan, ordered him to spend. Good luck Jonathan was not arrested, he walks free and even comes to visit at Aso Rock, but Dasuki was incarcerated. Several Courts granted Dasuki bail, the government refused to honour it. Several Court granted Zakzaky bail, the government refused to honour it.
