Can a graduate with over 13 years working experience accept job offer of N85,000 monthly salary simply because the person's company had challenges and is out of job.

The daily transport to and fro to work is atleast N1,500 and such a person will still have to buy and eat morning and afternoon food,dress well and has a family. Above all,because of traffic and distance to workplace,such a person will be leaving house atleast by 5am and coming home can reach 10pm.

Is it worth it?,Kindly advise

if this job can at least give you time, and if it is just Monday to Friday and you dont have other option for now, and hopefully they dont get to be owing you salary, you can take the job, in the same process keep looking for other vacancy and job opportunities.

But if your current renumeration doesn't measure up to that, you can consider it then.

The person should learn programming skills while using the current job to survive and later jump ship.

That salary is very small for a person with such experience however the amount of salary a person commands depends a lot on his/her skill sets.

This individual's current circumstances is a major determining factor here

Bros, how you do the calculations? It’s 45k for transportation, if he spend on average N500 on lunch, that is another 15k, for a net of 60k.
