I can already see emotional IPOB people who can't handle their emotions already dragging Ndiigbo into this issue while crying more than the bereaved.

What exactly is wrong with Umu IPOB bikonu? How is it any of our concerns if the Minorities prefer their "peaceful and harmonious" co-existence with Hausa Fulanis?
Can't you guys learn to mind your own business for once?

So where in the topic is Ndiigbo or Biafra mentioned?
How exactly is this post related to Ndiigbo?
Why have you emotional lots sworn to always put Ndiigbo on the spot of things we have nothing to do with and then attract insults to us?
Emere unu ya eme?

This is embarrassing! Okowa, you are a disappointment! How many lands have you given to the people of Delta State? Yet you want to give lands to a private Fulani business ?

Shame on you

Even if Okowa mistakenly gives the Herdsmen Land his Successor will surely revoke it in the interest of Security

raker300:
The Delta State chapter of the Cattle Dealers Association has rejected the 5,000 sqm of grazing land provided in a new bill by the state lawmakers.

During a public hearing on ‘A Bill for a Law to provide for the Regulation of Livestock Breeding, Rearing and Marketing and to Prohibit Open Grazing and related matters in Delta State’ on Monday, July 26 in Asaba, the herdsmen requested for at least 30,000 square meters of land in each local government area for livestock breeding and marketing across the state.

The hearing was organized by the state House of Assembly Joint Committee on Special Bills and Agriculture and Natural Resources.

A memorandum signed by its Chairman, Alhaji Musa Shuwa, said the 5,000 square metres designated as grazing areas contained in the draft bill was grossly inadequate, because of the facilities expected to be in the area.

He stated, “This (5,000 square metres) is only for the markets. Also, each market takes delivery of not less than 800 cattle every week. Our members hardly sell all their cattle at the market, hence the need to feed the cattle by grazing.

“With the intention of the draft of this bill being to ban open grazing, it is our respectful view that to have cattle within enclosed grazing (for the purpose of ranching) area would mean that a large space of area is needed for this purpose.

“While we acknowledge that the 5,000 square metres mentioned in Section 8(2a) is only the minimum, it is our modest view that even in the minimum, 5,000 square metres of land may not be the best starting point.”

Lol, if the governor fails to publicly issue a press statement to deny this ridiculous claims, then it means they're all brain dead in that state.

I can't believe that people can be so foolish, stupid and thoughtless like the subhumans that occupy certain parts of Nigeria.

"He who brings home ant infested firewood is only calling lizards to a feast"

I wish Delta State what they wish themselves.

This is a scarcity versus plenty situation.

Scarcity creates desperacy, while plenty creates satisfaction, apathy.

The relative prosperity of the South has caused us to be satisfied, apathetic and no longer desperate.

The North is suffering from scarcity of all kinds.
It would breed desperacy.
And that desperacy is what is making them win.

there is land deep between Ofogbene and Odimodi. They can use those swamp lands. If they want dry land they can go back to the north.
