A PDP governor just won Edo, another PDP governor won Imo but you had to use the supreme Court to get an APC governor in office.

The only way APC are winning states now is by defection or court action.

As for the Edo case, I/we vote for Obaseki cos majority of us never trust Ize Iyamu who has contested under PDP twice and lost to be our governor. Obaseki only go to PDP so he can continue as a governor not because he think or feel PDP is a better party than APC. I feel sad to see that the lack of ideology and thinking of PDP Alo manifest in their supporters, you called Imo state Governor supreme court governor but the case of Bayelsa is Ok by you and that of Zamfara is Ok by you. So it's very obvious that The Honourable Justice Mary Odili did not err in her minority judgement, but that the Supreme Court only looked for a loophole in the suit as their reason for keeping the Ondo Governor in office.

If the defendant in this case was a PDP Governor, we the SC give same judgement?

wike know what is coming, is quite unfortunate that this judgement came too early it would have come after their 2023 primary and see how all of them will be disqualify

FIRST OPTION

Firstly, the NEC of the Party can URGENTLY meet and consider and reconstitute the CECPC to exclude, not only Gov. Buni, but anyone holding ANY executive position in any government establishment as stipulated in Article 17 of the APC Constitution.

But Mr Festus was aware of the illegality of the Government Executive Officers running the party affairs since as opposed to the provision of the party's constitution quoted herein.

Jegede the Applicant in the suit failed to join Buni in the suit.
Since Buni was not joined as Respondent, he is denied fairing hence his actions on the matter can not be used to make conclusion.
That is the technicality used to safe Akeredolu.

Guy, you are Spot on.

The Supreme court just extended APC an olive branch but made its position clear so that go home and put their house in order.

I won't deceive myself that Supreme court judges are celestial. They are humans like us with political leanings and affiliation.

Kudos to them though, they have made their position clear.
