IPOB Declares Mondays A Total Lockdown In Southeast Until Nnamdi Kanu Is Release by Okoyeaniche(m): 1:46am On Jul 31, 2021
The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has declared every Monday a lockdown in the southeast until the proscribed group's leader, Nnamdi Kanu, is released.

IPOB's media secretary, Emma Powerful, termed the lockdown "ghost Monday" and said that schools and marketplaces will be disrupted.

According to the group, which accused the Nigerian government of Unjustly kidnapping and holding its head in Kenya, the sit-at-home order will begin on Monday, August 9, and will go from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

They went on to warn that if anything happened to Nnamdi Kanu, security troops would not return to the area.

The statement reads;

“We the global family of the Indigenous People of Biafra IPOB (IPOB) ably led by our great leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, wish to announce to all Biafra citizens, friends of Biafra and lovers of Biafra freedom and independence that IPOB leadership has declared every Monday ‘a ghost Monday,” the statement reads.

“This declaration takes effect from Monday, August 9, 2021. From that day Biafra land will be on lockdown every Monday from 6:00am to 6:00pm until our leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu who was unlawfully abducted in Kenya and illegally detained by...READ MORE

This is taking a different dimension how can you declare total lockdown when people have not even recovered from the forced lockdown imposed by the Government during surging effect of Covid-19 when people are thinking of rising to feed their families and do what will better their lives you want to come and kill them emotionally and psychologically before their physical death pls whosoever that is planning this should thread with caution. Lockdown not a solution

Very tactless as usual. I've never seen a case where supposed freedom fighters are visiting hardship on the people they want to set free and the "oppressors" remain unscathed.

Soon, all the misguided, poverty stricken and largely uneducated Igbo that have allowed themselves to be turned against their kith and kin ( by con men) will receive sense. In Jesus name I pray.

Amen

The Nigerian intelligence services are trying very hard to alienate IPOB from the masses through false propaganda of sit at home orders etc. But they have failed even before they started.

IPOB are mad people.
I thought they are fighting for multi ethnic BIAFRA with SS minorities inclusive.
Why are they declaring lockdown on just SE.
You see the lack of sincerity I'm talking about.
This is why they will never achieve alot.
