My fellow Nairalanders, remember I opened a thread here regarding a Solar company I saw online, asking about their legitimacy before patronising them, well I did and as expected I got scamed, as I’m taking to you, my money is still in their fraudulent pocket, they claim to sell all kinds of solar items from batteries to panels to streetlights but in reality, they don’t even have an office, the business is run by just a few persons, most of their prey are often innocent Nigerians on Jiji, they’ll keep sending you pictures of other people’s items till you finally send them money, that’s when their antics begins, everyone should beware of them, I’ll drop details of our transaction here for you guys to see, including screenshot of our chats, bank transfers and everything, please stay off that company, they’re thieves, they claim their office is in Lekki but when you insist on coming there to pick your item they’ll oblige that they only do deliveries, they will even pretend to want to fund the delivery so you’d agree and send them money, then their antics come into play
Here’s a link to their fraudulent website https://energymall.ng

Here’s how everything went, I saw an Item on their page on Jiji and chatted with them, this items were Foresolar panel, I needed it in 16 pieces, because I haven’t done a business with them in reality of which they claim to only do deliveries, I had to to reduce the quantity to 4 just to protect myself from situations like this, after much negotiations they offered to to render free deliveries on the items for 62,000 each since I was buying in large quantities, but because I requested to buy 4 first to check their legitimacy, they told me I’ll have to pay 3,000 for the delivery of the items which I agreed, if that would save me from loosing almost a million naira, before sending them money, I told them to send me pictures of the item to accretion it wasn’t a fake or wrong item I was being sent, the obliged, as soon as they realised I was feeling disinterested they decided to go on the internet in search of other peoples items to send me, of which they did, that was when. I decided to take the risk to send them the money, little did I know the company was fraudulent

shortly after I realized the images they sent me weren’t from their own shop, as a matter of fact, the images were from a different seller’s shop on Jiji, then I instantly sent her a message, that was when they stopped responding to my messages, that was when I knew something was wrong, as a web developer, I was able to get the owner’s number from the registration of their website, I called her instantly, why she was surprised on how I got her number, she was quick to clear my doubt that I was being sent the Foresolar panel I requested for, so I had to just chill till it gets to me in Benin, little did I know that they were sending me broken unbranded items so They’ll be quick to dismiss it on the ground that I damaged it so I can’t get a refund, as if it was the items I ordered in the first place, when I called her she requested I send a picture of the item Wic I did, but she tot I was a novice and almost thought he couldn’t stand her ground that it was Foresolar panel until she realized I knew what I was looking for, she pretended I should return it through thesame logistics she used in waybilling it which I did, later one of her staffed called me to tell me they can’t issue me a refund because the item was broken, mind you they intentionally inflicted damage on the panels because they knew they were sending me the wrong item and I was going to request a refund and the only way they could keep the company’s name was to pretend they were not taking the panel on the ground that it was broken, if they had not sent a fake item in the first place, would all this talk of damaged goods ever play into d picture, the worst part is they didn’t even send me an item with a name, not even a low quality name, they sent me an unbranded item with no name, who would spend his hard earn time on a product and not put his name if the item was of good quality or have authenticity, now they took both my money for the item and 10,000 for delivery cos I had to pay 4000 for sending it back plus the 6,000 the collected it to waybill it to Benin

This was the item they sent me in reality, fake is an understatement, this is an unbranded panel with no name at all, it was later I found 3 other persons that have been scammed by the company in the past..compare with the picture they sent above, even a blind person would know it was deliberate

sorry bro but you bleeped up. Everything advertised on jiji is scam.. Jiji is full of scammer's, it's scammer's den. Don't buy anything on jiji unless the seller agree to pay on delivery or you meet up in person.

yea bro, my mistake, I kinda trusted the scam of a company when I saw their website https://energymall.ng didn’t know that was the only trace of existence they have, no physical address, just some random address at Lekki they would never allow you visit even if you’re buying an item worth billions because they really don’t have anything on there for sale, they’ll put up digital image of an item on the website and advertise on their online platform, wen u request an original image of the item, they’ll go online and download pictures for you, wen u finally fall agree to buy they’ll collect money from you, go to Alaba, buy broken unbranded item and send to you and then refuse refund on the ground that you already broke it. Run from them my people.

Geez you’re so lucky bro, but unfortunately I wasn’t as lucky as you were with them..they are rouges, even if admin doesn’t move it to front page, anyone who diligently play on google would easily see this thread, it will go a long way in protecting potential buyers

Jiji is most definitely not a scam site. Stating this is a huge discredit to the hundreds of thousands of honest and hardworking Nigerians conducting their business on Jiji on a daily basis.

Op, spell their name well so it appears on Google front page. There is no space between the 'Energy' and 'Mall'. It's Energymall Nigeria

Just saying.

Thanks for this.
