Nigeria’s weak economy has been brought to a comatose by the present administration that lacks the knowledge on how to manage our economic diversity to our advantage.
Is it the promises of abetter Nigeria after Dr. Goodluck Jonathan administration which they claim was corruption ridden? Or the promise of freedom of speech which has turn to “ slavedom”of speech and the gagging of the press.
Before the coming of this administration, Nigerians was voted to have the largest economy in Africa, our poverty index was never as worst as this (now poverty paradise of the world).
Most families these days go to bed without food. The UN in its recent study said over 8million people have gone down the poverty line after covid19.other countries have found a way to manage their economy to the benefits of their citizens, butNigeria has not. Contrarily things are getting worst every day. The prices of food commodity are skyrocketing every day. Some has gone as high as 215% to 300% according to dailies. Most companies who are helping the economy by reducing unemployment has moved from Nigeria to Ghana. Most graduates these days has to ride Okada(motorcycle) to be able to feed themselves and their families.
There are so many confusions in Nigeria that the government cannot beat its chest that they are in control of things again.
The wise men and women in Nigeria needs to wake up from their slumber and safe our collective democracy before we are recolonize from within.
