German sport kit production company, PUMA, has terminated its four (4) year $2.76 million worth contract signed with the Athletics Federation of Nigeria (AFN). ayokinews.com reports

The four (4) year contract deal was earlier on July 24, 2019, signed by the President of the Athletics Federation of Nigeria (AFN) and was due to expire by 2022.

The German firm in a letter signed by its Director, Manuel Edlheimb, made it known that the 4 year contract deal was terminated over the failure of the Nigerian athletes to wear the company brand kits at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic games.
