I'll take the Stanbic bank as
It's more secure.
It's better on your CV too.
It exposes you to your future customers

I wouldn't advise anyone to go for contract job, as an account in a manufacturing firm you'll gain enough experience that can probably prepare you for same position in an O&G firm

Take the bank job.
Infrastructural and credit challenges are causing manufacturing companies to close down at the speed of light. Remuneration might also be erratic at the company.
It’s a gamble sha, I don’t know. Never had a job.

I will advice you to continue with your $120 job, something can just hit that bank, they will start dropping staffs and if your village people are not holiday that day, they will just submit your CV in their calabash. But we are really suffering in this country, $120 in a month? I will pay electricity, data, food, transportation, if you're a church boy you will pay tithe. How much is a pair of jean? God help your children, just save and japa

You need to know what really drives you.. is it money (short term) or learning (long term). If you can identify what drive you between these two, you should be be able to make a decision that is right for you. Just know that; if money drives you, you'll keep chasing money that you won't ever get for the rest of your life while those who put learning first end up being chased by money because they would have acquired what could easily be converted to money. All the best!

Don't work in a bank as a contract staff . It is pure slavery. No career path and at best the number of years you will put in will only count as duties not experience. It is even worse if you are going to work as a teller. One error can send you to jail or wipe out your 6months salary. The job is time consuming and full of stress. You won't have time for personal development or side hussle.

A word is enough for the wise.

Bank teller no be job
It won't do any good to your cv
Even if you do it for 50 years

Stay in your current job and apply for same position in better firms.
Banking is a waste if precious time

Your basically a human atm if you go to stanbic

Which kind nonsense salary be that? What would you do with that yeye salary in this kind economy? I'll rather stay at home or learn hand work to be self sufficient than do that kind work.

There's more potential for you in the account officer position than in the contract staff bank job. There's also a clear career path and job security.

As a contract staff in any bank, frustration go kill you when you see your mates in the same bank climbing up the ladder and even younger ETs being your Oga later.

You can go for the bank job because there will be room for conversion to a full staff if you are still in the age bracket.

My advice continue with the manufacturing company it is secure and you might gain skill that would help you later in life. As for the Stanbic job security is 40% and you might get laid off based on hullabaloo associated with banking sectors. Make your choice, your decision now can determine the outcome of your future

I'll go for the manufacturing job, boss. It's a great place to learn process and materials and know-how. You might even get to meet people. It's a good place to start/learn whatever big thing you might want to do in the future.

Bank teller experience is utter rubbish on CV. As an account officer in a manufacturing firm, 2 years work experience can catapult you to a bigger firm with a much better pay.
