Let's discuss this fam

What is the BB Naija doing right that the educational system is doing wrong

How come the entertainment industry is doing their work so well that the education system is not really showing the beauty of education

How can we get huge grant outside the country and our best heads look up to the uneducated for help

The politicians, doctors, lawyers, engineers, pilots, nurses needs one qualification or the other to show that they are ideal for the post

Which means they all passed through a teacher but teachers are the least paid undecided

Immoral shows like BBNAIJA gets sponsors why can't the best graduating student not get a car or a home to make people value education the more

Why What could be done Who is to do what And when can it be done

If our president is uneducated and don't have a single idea how education is very important to a country, what do you expect?, God help us all, corruption is just too much and eating us too deep, I fear we might not be able to pull out, entrepreneurship is the only way for now going forward

How Without school, you can't even type what you just did!

Aren't you happy that you can read and write

Btw, Seun, please we need an opinion thread!

Haven't seen the educated working for the illiterate? How many professors did you see in oba during obi cubana's mother burial? We can even learn reading and writing right from the comfort of our homes.
Hmmmm exactly my point! All these things you could read stems from teachers!

Don't get me wrong, we need entertainment to cure boredom but we mustn't neglect the role or the power of education either

Right now the teachers are supposed to be treasured and helped if for not, at least a very good salary!

Maybe, you should ask him what he means by that

Some people actually think 'school na scam' because their teachers are poor compared to some other people.

They think "school na scam' because not everyone that attended school has millions while some that are not as good as their teachers towards reading and writing have millions as a result of luck.

I won't say 'school na scam' because the school was never a guarantee of an exposure to something that will make you a millionaire.

The school was never defined as an exposure to something useful towards
EVERYBODY becoming a millionaire.

If you come across what you can use to make millions, it's a matter of chance.

If you don't come across what you can use to make the millions, it's still a matter of chance.

Whether you like or not , you will require the knowledge of certain things to survive and that knowledge is either derived from school or private lessons/tutorials or one-on-one sessions because you can't be aware of the position of every necessary item which means you can't find everything you need by yourself

You will have to ask questions about what you have not seen even though it's in your environment since you have limits.

Nobody is independent of learning certain things.

That's not the point.
The point is even if you came last in the BBN, you will have more reference and recognition in THIS country than a first class graduate.

Self righteous , self entitled ,pompous Nigerian graduate that thinks studying a coarse should automatically guarantee her good life not the value she created or her hardwork

What value have you created as a so called educated graduate?!... Your final year project what Economic or social problems has it solved in Nigerian society

DSTV has over 200 channels, GOtv has over 100+ channels... You have the previledges of choosing from Religious, Educational and Sport related Programs , you can pick Drama and Music

Graduate like you working at MultiChoice Africa sat down to create a unique entertainment show which is a powerful social experiment to showcase human behaviour while cohabiting, in a way filming them 24/7 as if under CCTV

Multi choice Graduate developed games like arena games,

Morning exercise

Saturday night Live DJ session

SMS voting

HOH games

I don't see a reason for comparison here. BBNaija is a reality TV show with the aim of making profit. .We all know that entertainment sells everywhere.
The earlier you realize this, the better.

So I No Blame The Organizerse And The Nigeria Lottery Commission + Nigeria Broadcasting Corporation For Allowing This Indecency In A Moral Society.

MODIFED: Most Of Those Graduating Student Monetary Price Had Been That Way Since Naira Had Value In Early 90's , The Problem Is The Failure To Revamp The Educational System.

What do you mean by educational sectors biko? BBNaija is an entertainment sector. Just like WWE, sports and the rest. Why are footballers earning millions and graduates in Nigeria being paid tokens. My dear there are lots of people who solve a major problem which is IDLENESS. Nothing beats a product that keeps people relaxed. BBN does that

Compare that to BBN and football

Education is not a right and hence not for people without means.
No one needs to make it attractive for anybody,it is the learner that has to chose to cherish it or not because he/she should know what good it will bring their way, that's why it's prizes aren't worthwhile basically.
BBN on the other hand is a private show that people have invested in to become profitable from It.
How so?By making it as attractive as possible to their customer base(viewers) and one of the means to do so is by giving out high prizes to winners to attract the attention of the viewers.
If the price money for bb9ja was 250k,your guess on the success of the show is as good as mine.
If you like go school,if you don't like stay, body go tell you.
